Amen. I know God had me find your page for a reason, I thank God for guiding me to hear your posts because they help me to understand better and help me on my journey with Jesus. Thank you so much for what you do I pray that God blesses you and guides you to continue these posts Amen God definitely talks to me through your words every time I feel lost or question something in my life your posts come up and answer my questions praise God.
You are so right - if I didn't have weaknesses (if I was born into a perfect creation, like Adam was) - I would not NEED God, like I do in my broken condition! BUT - and I'm not trying to be obstinate, but my first thought was - if we were like Adam before the fall, we wouldn't consider our need above our WANT for God (though it indeed may be) recognizing His loving kindness, His provision and power, His mercy to us - I, personally, would want to spend as much time with Him as possible. My need for Him would never be in question - it's a given, it would be coded into every fiber of my being; and though I am free to choose, I would know that disobedience brings death. OK, enough of my spouting. So glad our Abba-Father is with us through all things - mountains and valleys. Thankful for the nuggets of wisdom He gives us through our brothers and sisters. Best thing I'm learning to do these days is give it all to Jesus - I don't want to seek my own remedy for the anxiety, and the suffocation from asthma and COPD. The other day I had to face a challenge, I called it a 'pop-quiz' - I couldn't breathe, and I couldn't find my phone to call for prayer or help. I used to be able to call my cell from my magicjack phone but I didn't renew it and it expired at the end of February. So, I had to get a hold of myself, and I reminded myself of some scriptures, and that He will never leave me, and that if I died right then, I'd be free of it all! And if God wants me to live then He will make a way! Sure enough, as soon as I settled down, the phone showed up in a place I'd looked already, several times. Our God - so amazing!
