I’ve attempted to go to Greenock on 5 occasions and cancelled 4 due to winds and them started driving through and it was raining even though it was forecast 🥲 so ended up doing Clune Park Estate in Port Glasgow and even with that i had to go back to do drone as rain was bloody heavy, im struggling to make any videos just now if its not raining its windy or even both, typical scottish summer 😯 Yeah shocking from these tyrants i had no plan to phone Air traffic control it was only when i was checking online about the business i seen the Drone Guide and that it was in a so called No Fly Zone, have emailed CAA hopefully get a reply as when you see an FRZ its alarm bells but if tyrants like this just put it up it weakens the seriousness of it 😃👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Yeah think G4S were on ok as they realised it was the docks i was doing and not their yard, they caught me off guard as stopped recording to put Chopper away in his case and they swooped up, did tell them id be back another day especially how Air traffic confirmed the area is all clear, being honest i really did think there would have been a Fly Restriction Zone over Grangemouth oil refinery as there are a few hazards and big flames about, but the law says ok so have to get some good footage 😃👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Yeah im jumped from a Mini 1 to Mini 4 back in March, i would of upgraded earlier but the 1st Chopper became the star of the show and being honest i enjoy fly the Mini 1 better than the Mini 4, maybe its just because what im used to but if wasnt for the zoom function & better camera quality i wouldn’t of upgraded. Have so far got an email back saying “thanks for reaching out to the CAA, someone will be in touch shortly regarding your complaint “ think just a slightly edited “automatic response” but Ports cant just claim they have an FRZ as a deterrent as it waters down the seriousness of an FRZ is 🥲 Yeah just ignore they no fly signs they are not law abiding and mean nothing, if i see one i fly 😃👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Yeah that was the Grangemouth Security that caught me off guard after Drone flight in this video as they thought i was over their land, told them i will possibly be back another time, that means i will 🤗 will need to go there early and with 3 Full battery’s due to the size of the place 😃👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

If it has a Camera mate you need to have an operator ID Visible on drone at all times, only t he small Toy Drones (no camera) dont need an Id @ the moment 😯👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We dont have that here mate, well not yet we do have certain places that have Bi- Laws in place thats why i phoned Air Traffic Control as their website did alarm me especially when they had a diagram with it in the Red Zone, yeah my accent os causing me issues with some viewers 🙈 and believe it or not but tis is the Peak of our Summer here and im struggling most days to Fly Drone as if not string winds it raining here 😯👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸

@@Droneauditsscotland Yeah I guess it's only here in a few states like Texas that list ports as critical infrastructure, and only about 10 states have critical infrastructure drone restrictions.

@maddercat yeah no doubt they will end up changing the laws so everywhere is the same, i always fly safe and do my own risk assessment which was 1 of the main reasons i didnt do the Oil Refinery as well on Friday as loads of Hazards, Pipes with large Flames 🔥 etc but will be back there as the Oil Refinery is the size of a town 😃👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸
