the notaconstant (3 songs at once) makes perfect sense to me and that shit would clear my mind so good a constantly filled mind is really stressful and makes exams and studying nigh impossible. i can't take in new information and even if i could i cant even process it when it comes to studying i've found that overwhelming or overstimulating music basically shoves all of that shit out by force and because it's not thoughts, but an unpredictable, constant attack of noise, my mind is empty and calm. that dude is a genius for doing that (i do have a suspicion i have autism or adhd but it has never been confirmed and i have never tried to get diagnosed)

Damn wish i knew of this so i coulda put in my autistic stuff too, I write future conversation dialogue trees out Like conversations i know im gonna have i write out possible responses i get and then the possible responses i wjll give and i do this pretty much for every conversation i plan to have. Its like a story based choice game.... ive gotten so good at predicting what others will say i start interrupting them midsentence because i already written down what they would respond to what i said Also i keep lists... like of everything... my favorite words, favorite sentences, advices, numbers, games ive played and their ratings, all the movies ive seen and so on and so forth. I am a maniac.

Oh. I cannot take loud noises, including TVs, music, phones, etc. When i go to night clubs, bars, etc with friends i use earbuds (not playing anything) to muffle everything out. When im watching TV, it's always only on 5-8 out of 100. My earbuds/headphones when listening to music are NEVER maxed out, only 1/4th way to 1/3rd. At most half way when I don't wanna hear anything at the moment lol

the 3 songs on loop for 10 hours is something i also do, idk why but it really helps me focus, from my perspective the background noise kinda makes me zone it out and hyperfocus on whats in front of me. actually recommend people try this

When I saw the story with the french fries I felt called out because I almost do the same thing (I'm 27F) 😂 the difference is for me I avoid the burnt ends of fries and I've done that since I was a kid. I just hate the texture and taste of that so I just avoid the burnt parts of fries. Sometimes I go as far as avoiding fries that feel damp in my hands. I do have sensory processing dysfunction that was treated as a child, as of now I've been learning to cope with it. Mainly an adult my frequent sensitivities relate to texture and sound volume sensitivity. I really enjoy scented lotion/other products if they have a good scent. I wish I could have submitted some of my weird habits/sensitivities because one I have is that I really don't like the sound of when someone is writing with a wooden pencil, I hated using wooden pencils as a kid because of the scrapy sound and have been using mechanical pencils ever since. 😅

Loved this video, wish i knew it was gonna go on, i totally wouldve joined in. Im autistic myself, ive got this thing where when im really focused on a show ill unconsiously mimic the faces of characters on screen. Ive had multiple friends ask me if im ok as ive done this while watching tv on my phone without realizing. Also, i have the habit of incessantly applying chapstick and i get uncomfy if i dont apply it every hour, if i ever miss an hour, ill apply twice as much to make up for it. I always keep a stick or two on me. Oh and my favorite flavors are mint and cotton candy in case you wanted to know.

Well i sometimes do one thing in here and have another thing to add. I sometimes do avoid eating the chip and just suck the dust off them. I also have a habit of every time i eat a frosted donut with sprinkles, i take my teeth and push all the frosting towards the center and eat the outer donut plain with minimal frosting and then at the end of the donut i eat the glob of sprinkles and frosting with a little bit of donut. I started doing it when i was young, like maybe 7, and have been doing it ever since because i just cant imagine eating a donut normally now.

I can confirm. I weaponized my tism during college for a senior engineering final paper fixated on building an adventure bus or more widely classified as a "skoolie" for youtube searches. Not to live in, but for road trips to national parks. I can tell you the make, engine needs, engine location, and body types that work best for various needs. However if your sole focus is going to national parks a type B sized bus is your best bet due to weight and size limitations enacted by various parks. Along with the fact a type B has indoor room without being overly too big to park. Saves lots of headaches.

i obsessively sort stuff and have been for as long as i can remember. for fun when i was in primary school i used to pour ALL my lego onto the floor and then meticulously sort it by piece type, i unfortunately didnt have enough containers to also sort it by colour, when i was done i would tip it all back out into a big pile again. In kindergarten instead of playing with toys during play time, i would sort them, for example i would sort the wooden thomas train tracks by piece shape then neatly pack them back into the box. during art and craft we had this glitter that came in 5 different shapes, a star, a square, a triangle, a circle, and a smaller circle, i would take handfuls home and sort it into 5 plastic bags i had hanging from my window sill. Today i have all my cloths sorted by type then colour, all my apps on my phone are sorted by what it's used for, all my discord servers are sorted by what kind of community or function they serve, i have a bunch of game disks that are sorted by title, all my bookmarks on my browser are sorted by function then name.

I knew. I knew already I was tistic. but its the content like this that makes me start ticking boxes of like yeah, I do that, oh and that, and shit yeah it do be like that all the time. fuck. its the sheer fact I can relate to at least 8 of these... I fucking love turtles I've had at least one since i was 15 and it has turned into an obession. The more that i learned about turtles and their natural habitat and how to mimic that in an aquarium the more obessive information i collect about turtles. I have a mississippi map turtle (living) and also have a skeleton of the same type of turtle (found in the wild, NOT previous pet). its really hard to sex most turtles until they reach adulthood. they have double eyelids and can close them independently, the scales on their shells are called scoots and peel off like a fingernail when they grow new larger scoots, their spine is in their shell, they yawn underwater, swallow their food with water like whales , they can smell underwater, their eyes are empty pits to the dark void of nothingness and everythingness at the same time, they make a lot of shit but require really clean water so i got a canister filter that maxes out at 200 gals to run on his tank that holds 40 gals. turtles have ears, theyre little holes on the side of their head, youd never find them. unless they get an ear infection due to lack of key vitamins. Did you know turtles are vitamin nerds? they require a specific light bulb not to turn into scoliosis little gremlins. UVB to be specific. And these lightbulbs stop giving off UVB light before they actually burn out so i have to keep a record on what brand it was and what wattage and when it was replaced because different bulbs last longer (usually 6-9 months need changing but last a year). I judge when to change based of my turtle's behavior and appetite and how often he basks. How i keep his live planted jungle style aquarium thriving without C02 is another rabbit hole of adhd madness is a whole other hole compared to just turtle knowledge. my most interesting facts about turtles are their breeding behavior . In the past 8 years i have been able to confirm the sex of my turtle. he is a male. I have seen the d*ck. there used to be a fish that he was obessed with and would m@sterba*t to. you can see the ropes floating in the water. I have it on video. multiple videos. It is the most disturbing thing you could ever see in your livingroom. *its purple* . *no balls* . *looks like a cousin of the rafflesia plant straight out of little shop of horrors* . look up turtle reproductive anatomy. It's a weird niche for me because there are no pictures of it online. I don't have pics to prove it, but in like 4th or 5th grade, me and one of my friends got really into world war 2 cryptography. So much so that we made our own written code language. I made a dictionary and everything. We mostly used it so we could pass notes and talk about warrior cats in class without being caught. I have no idea where that journal is anymore.

The last one unironically works. You don't get distracted from the outside, as you are effectively deaf, and you don't get distracted by the music, as it is unrecognizable. I use a variation of the same technique, and my brain just zooms for the entire day without eating or thinking of anything but working.
