Like on the back of the front bottom and top teeth? Thats normal, I have them too, if u break those types of retainers u will need to start wearing the clear ones daily, take them off when u need to eat,drink or brush ur teeth
I wore a retainer because I grind my teeth at night. I couldn’t wear the retainer during 3 months of chemo and by the time my treatment was over the retainer no longer fit.
@@sebaslikesanimations1447 no not at all. The first time I had them on, it lasted for 2 years. But this time I finished treatment in about 6 months only. The period was so short and time went by so fast.

Hey, my orthodontist put the permanent wire retainers at the back of my teeth but didn't give the clear ones. Do the permanent ones work well or there's the possibility of relapse in my case too?
My bottom retainers fit but not all the way (didn’t wear them for most of a month ) will they fit back if I wear my retainers full time? To put it into perspective of how my teeth are I went to the dentist and my own dentist said I should wear it for a month straight and it will fit back

Hi, I got the braces removed 2.5 months ago, I am wearing clear retainers daily,(some days on and off 😬) , I always forget the retainer, here and there, would you advise to get another pair made extra, just in case I loose it, my current teeth shape is what I like, so my worry is, if I loose the current ones, and as I travel alot, if I miss the dentist appointment for some days after loosing the current retainers , will the new retainers will be of my then teeth shape, which will be changed teeth position, and I will not have the current teeth shape which I like , Thank you so much for reading this through, (it was long, I know 🙊) 👍
I got braces even with a good set of teeth to avoid some unnoticeable gaps after not wearing the retainer i now have very noticeable gaps right in the middle itself nd all the small gaps have expanded nd it hurts sometimes even after I got permanent braces on backside of my teeth this happend nd it was broken too

My teeth ended up jutting outward. I noticed I didn’t have a clean bite into my food, it’s more like I’m gnawing. Basically biting into food with the back of my teeth. Now I’m wearing Invisalign for the next two years.
I today got metal braces on upper back jaw....the doctor said it will take 14 days to put braces on all my teeth as they are doing this process slowly.....to be honest i don't feel any pain...just the inner cheek getting disturbed by braces 😬😅
I Never needed a retainer after my braces , and my teeth are bthe same as after the braces , i dont see why fort some people the teeth shift back to their spot before the braces
Yes , your teeth will shift and ruin all the progress your braces made If you don't wear the retainer. So yeah it's a forever thing if you wanna ensure your teeth remain straight
It was a fast process, once it was time for take off my braces, they used mold for as a replica on my teeth so they can get started on making the retainers, and it takes about 45 minutes for your retainers to be made
@@SarahSadek1 Wow. I had no clue that you would have to wear a retainer forever. My teeth moved in just 3 months of not wearing mine. Wonder if I could make a Christmas ornament out of it…a very expensive ornament. 😂
@@SarahSadek1 my ortho lied to me before i went for the braces. He exactly told me i need to wear braces for 2yrs and retainers for 1 year wholeday ,and 6 months during night. !! If i knew this lifetime thing before i would have never thought about braces. I repent!!!
Hi! Can you kindly answer a doubt I have? I recently got braces, 5 months for upper and 2 weeks for bottom (no extractions) My upper were good, maybe one slightly crooked. For now for personal reasons, ( mental health) I have regret and want to remove them ASAP. What I want to know, will me teeth relapse to the way they were considering the short time I’ve had braces? Also how likely is it that they will shift exactly to the way they were and how likely will they look worst?
