Ingredients:
350 g green asparagus, cleaned and cut into approx. 1 cm wide pieces
500 ml water
salt, sugar
80g butter
350 g ground durum wheat semolina
1 tsp baking soda
1 P. baking powder
3 eggs
150 g cream cheese
1 bunch of chives, finely sliced
100 g cooked ham, finely diced
Salt pepper
Aside from that:
Fat and flour for the baking pan
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C top and bottom heat.
Grease a loaf pan and dust it with flour.
Bring 500 ml of water with salt to the boil in a small pot and cook the asparagus pieces for a few minutes.
Drain the water and reserve 100 ml. Melt the butter and set aside.
Mix the eggs with the cream cheese in a bowl, add the butter, asparagus water and the flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Also add the asparagus, diced cooked ham and chives to the bowl. Strong with salt and pepper seasoning. Now mix everything thoroughly and then knead.
Pour the dough into the baking pan and distribute it evenly.
Bake in the middle of the oven for 45-50 minutes. Then let it stand in the mold for a few minutes. Then take the bread out of the mold and let it cool on a rack.
