I trim trees for a living. One time I was cutting back a type of euphorbia that looked like a small kind of succulent. 1 drop of the milky white substance the plant succreats when cut went in my eye. It went from a slight burning to absolute fire within 5 minutes. I had to go to the er and flush my eye out for 30 min. It swelled up and hurt all day. I could have gone blind without flushing it. Always wear protective gear and know what your cutting.

I spent my early years living right next to a Sandbox tree in Miami. My grandmother's mailbox was mounted on it. I was told the fruit explodes yet I never witnessed it to my disappointment. It occupied the center of my familie's property. It was the largest tree among several other interesting trees. P.S. I'm still alive.
The fruit does explode but only when it dries out, if you're in a particularly wet environment such as perhaps you're part of Miami which it wasn't native to that might not manifest?
And there are only one tree seed after 50 years. And the guy that sells air want to stop those people who has the seed. And they will all sing at the end saying let it grow...

Cherry Trees are nice. My Grandparents had 2 in their front yard and we climbed them constantly and picked the cherries every year. It's first cousins you have to look out for. My Aunt took the land in an underhanded way and gave it to her children.
Yep. I'm here because yesterday came across a couple of the sandbox ones, and as we were chopping them ( bought a new house, they all over the backyard), we got sap on our skin and eyes. We did get to timber like 4 of them first. Really itchy rash and swollen and burning eyes. We still recovering.
This is true. On a warm day I sat down under an apple tree. I was not aware how dangerous this could become. I ate one of the apples and dozed off under the tree. My wife got home and went off because I did not mow the lawn.
The Sandbox Tree isn't all that bad: Its fruits are picked unripe, then sawn on the top part, and you get a decorative ink reservoir for a pen. Its sap is used to poison arrows and for fishing. Its also an excellent source of timber. Its bark makes excellent furniture and is also nicknamed "hura bark". Yes, it can be deadly.. If you don't respect it.

Fashionista B That's weird, because last time I was in for a couple of chest X-rays & a CT scan the radiologist was explaining the difference between a peach and a nectarine while I lay there. She said that if I was back for a follow up she'd explain how the plantain became the banana. I just expected that all radiologists were fruit experts.
Ian MacFarlane... last time I checked, encyclopedia knowledge of fruits in general, both domestic and wild, were not a part of the classes you take to become a radiologist. Chances are, that one in particular studies fruits as a hobby.
