I love that Weht sharpening stone.. Worth " it's weight in gold "...be diligent when selling.. seriously. I know,I can't afford one..lol. Best of blessings to you and your family ..
Love the Pocket Fisherman! My dad had one when I was a kid. We used to go fishing at this Conservation area all the time. I was on the dock by myself using the Pocket Fisherman. I was maybe 7 or 8 years old. I cast out and dropped the Pocket Fisherman in the lake!! I was like, "Oh Sh**! My dad's going to kill me!" I reached down in that water so fast and scooped it up before it sank. All was good. It was probably at least 40 years later before I told him that story. Fun times.
Watched it first! I had a 'Justice Scale' but the base was actually a Red Fox Head! Never seen another one, wish my father-in-law hadn't sold mine without permission! As always love the video share!
Hey y'all... Absolutely my vav picker vidz !!! I watch y'all all the time with my sweet lil 8yr old grandson XANE & btw we are extremely happy and LOYAL SUBCRIBERS!!! My lil grandson is working on making some Dinosaur stickers for y'all as we speak. XANE is my lil picker and he keeps me a grinning all the time when we go to yard sales. He is only 8 yrs old but really has an eye for finding treasures... He is so cute reading labels or turning thgs over to ck for product names. You would be proud bc he truly listens to yr suggestions on what to look for and he surprises me all the time with great finds. Thx for keeping thgs real and not filling yr fidz up with a lot of fluff!!! We will be sending y'all stickers shortly... Until then... We'll get you on the next one😅 Lynne Mock Waycross, GA
Think you should get top dollar for the onyx lamps and scales. Scales would be pretty in the kitchen holding fruit. Check on the bottom for a number and the stem for a name.
New subscriber and really loving the videos , and you and your wife's enthusiasm. Thought I saw an old CB radio, not sure what truckers are using these days. Crazy thought, I didn't know if your close to any of the military bases, folks getting transfered or retiring might have some real treasure :-) General Patton had an English Bull Terrier named after William the Conqueror - nicknamed Willie. You might find a small magnet handy, it will detect ferris metals, ( iron based ), items like aluminum, brass silver, lead, titanium, tin copper will not stick. You can get a pocket pen or small expandable one at good old Home Depot.. Standing by for the next treasure run.
hey!! thank you so much for the sub and welcome aboard - and youre right i should have looked at the CB better some of them can be worth alot - i think that $40 price scared me a little
@@beardedthriftmachine you're right, I missed the 40 dollar price, that is a bit high, even though they still have a niche market , I might have gone 15. , still, y'all got done great goodies all around. Happy hunting
Hey guys, regular subscriber enjoy your channel! Your posts are the perfect length! Not too long not too short! Too long can get a little tedious just picking! Although I like the ones where you’re traveling, and things like that being longer! Good job
Hey from Illinois. Love these picks. The sharpening stone is a great find. Do not discount this piece. I would hold at 40..45, fursure. These survival items hold their value. This particular piece is larger than most and would make a nice addition to a collection.Really cool.
Y’all did so well. I would put the scale and lamps up for bid. They are awesome and I kinda think they could go for a good amount of money. Just a thought. Nice haul. Thanks hanks for sharing. ❤️🥰
I picked up 14 of those LLADRO bells at an estate auction for $8. They are mostly new and from the 2000s. I figure that I will probably list them in the fall when people are looking for Christmas items.
Wow! Everything at this estate sale is amazing! Were you and Kayla the only buyers there?!! Only $85 spent?! That is phenomenal! ( : Wow! ( : You got the two lamps that match the scale too? I would say over $100! Amazing what you got for $5 each at last garage sale! Holy moly! ( : You guys did fantastuc these past two days! ( :
no there was a ton of people there - i was kinda filming when people were not around due to it being to loud - but i think we did pretty good for only $85
You should charge $500.00 to $700.00 for the two lamps and scale as a set. They probably came from Pakistan. My hubby's cousin was married to a guy from there. He'd brought us a set of onyx lamps when he went home but they shattered in shipping.
* Love the Onyx pieces.. With the right shades they will be awesome. $75. or more for the pair.. The scale is Cool, can't wait to see it after ypu wash it..
Expect nothing else than fantabulas😂, these guys ripped my old business up, restructured, and my dead pile is gone, I buy what they show, my crew is now 3. That's Kayla & Jullian ❤
What do you use to record the first person view. The quality looks really good even though you mentioned it was low lighting in sale. Also did the Sony camera have any tapes with it? New or used?
Love the channel and have been watching y’all for awhile. I was wondering if you could do me a favor. I am looking for a youth left handed golf set for my 12 year. It’s his first year playing golf and I haven’t come across any out on my picks or around here in Kentucky. If you find a decent set and I am able to buy it for around $150 including shipping I would be very interested and thankful. I have a few weeks before I have to pull the trigger and buy something. I also have a stack of dinosaur stuff I need to send you. Maybe I will put that in the mail tomorrow for y’all. Thanks again and keep up the awesome videos.
Hey ! I lll def be on the lookout here for that and if i find it - ill contact (if you could send me and email at beardedthriftmachine@yahoo.com ) so have a way to contact you if i find them
One of the very few estate sales I went to had a double wedding band quilt there I picked it up and it was marked $5°°, believe me I kept it. Normally runs from $150 to $500 . On a second not you purchased 5 items for $5°° ea. that's $25°° not $ 20°°
It's possible that HandyCam is one of the infamous ones where the Night Vision feature worked in daylight to see through clothing. That'd be worth a pretty penny to the proper perv! Anyway, your adventures are fun to watch!
Hey, did you happen to see where Kevin the Commonwealth picker called you out specifically by name? He was trying to identify a wrestling action figure it was Braun strowman with the beard in the bald head and he said that look like you which I think was pretty cool
lol - its better then saying there was a yard sale karen or a fight or something negative in the title LOL =) and if i wake up in the morning i feel i did hit the jackpot
