This vid will show you how to start your vehicle if it won't start using the key. If the solenoid is bad this bypasses it so you can drive the vehicle home or to a shop.
So you’re bypassing the security? I’m having that problem too so I think that will work on mine? I gave the remote starter button too. I’ve had mine 25 years! Lol
Thank you! My ,01 Merc Sable won't start and every video I saw before yours was geared for 5 year olds to watch. I know what the issue is NOT, so I got sick of hearing about starters and alternators.
I have a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr having problems starting it I put a new Fuel pump on it set of new fuel injectors set of new spark plus set of new coils and pigtail leads for the coils and takes it forever too start I can turn the key on it cranks for at lest 30 minutes than have too back off the key and back it off again and finally it starts it was doing this before so that is why i bought new parts has nearly 180,000 miles on the car I bought all the parts dirt cheap from eBay fuel injectors a set brand new not re manufacturer was $42.00 on eBay fuel pump not assembly was $18.00 and coils set of them was $45.00 on eBay
1999 mercury cougar v6 2.5 New battery all new plugs n wires won't even crank sometimes all connections are good when it does if the engine is warm itll crank slow. Sometimes it won't crank but ill hold the key cranked forward all the way the out of nowhere the starter will just start working i don't get this problem mechanic can't figure it out any ideas???????
@@jyfinesse5967 yeah turned out it was a problem with the anti theft not the starter. And the statrer solenoid is attached to the starter and the solenoid is the thing you tap on to see get the car to start a few more times until you put a new starter in and prove that thats the problem. But actually i had a car a few months later that a wire coroded away that connected the starter an the solenoid so i was confused when i taped on it ane that didnt start it cause i was pretty sure that was the issue but because the wire went bad not the starter it self i was able to fix it when i put a new starter on.
@@jyfinesse5967 yea it blinks more then it usually does. I thought i noticed it blinking all weird one night before this but nothing happened it started up fine so i didnt think anything of it
