Not good. Won't be long before you tear it up getting too close to the blade. Then what happens? Shit goes flying. Just mount a feather board vertically like I did.

I am sorry, not to rain on your parade, but essentially this is a type of feather board. How is this better than the various version with a proven track record?
This is pretty clever. I think that what you've created is essentially a vertical feather board. I think you could do the same thing on the left side and have it mount in the T track. I suspect you could put two of those on a crosscut sled and dado several boards all at the same time. This is definitely an inspirational idea that gets the gears turning. Thanks!
The only thing I would do differently is have one end of the part that moves up/down FIXED and the other height adjustable. (A bit like a lever). But not bad at all.
I really like this but why don't people use glue anymore??? You forgot to tell us what the flex material was and your blade is way to high. Are you trolling for an accident???
