as someone that wore uniform for almost their whole school career, it’s nice to see these vids cuz even though i know my style, it’s fun to learn more about how to better them and how to accessorize (jasmine doesn’t call us hotties for no reason🥵)
idk why but you saying i can separate my pinterest board into different categories like "daily wear", "going out", etc simplified things for me a ton. whenever i shop for new pieces or go thrifting, i never know what to actually look for because idk what i like or looks good on me. thank you jasmine ⭐
To add onto making a Pinterest board, I *really* love the sections feature! You can make a style board with sections for diff occasions (ex. work, going out, chill weekend vibes) but you can also make sections based on how much you like the outfits!! For example, on my Pinterest board I have a "style essence" section full of things I know I would feel comfortable in but also a "try it out" section for when I find a really cool pin but I'm not sure if I would wear it/feel comfy in it. People see trends over and over again and can easily be convinced they like them even if they aren't a good long-term investment. Having a separate moodboard for newer pins/ fits you aren't entirely sure of helps with overconsumption and buyer's remorse! If after a few months you still really like the piece, then go ahead and move it to the "essence" category. If you don't, identify why not (ex. I like the body not the outfit, I like her hairstyle/makeup, I would feel overstimulated wearing something this tight), write a private note and put it in a separate board/section so you don't lose the inspo if you decide to come back around. Hope this helps!! P.S. If you do decide to try something out that you're unsure of, see how you can experiment with accessories! They're cheaper, can be added to pretty much any outfit, and are easier to rehome to friends!
omg, the note on public opinion is so important. all spring i tried to dress like a "coquette girl" just because I saw how it was forced on tiktok and other social networks, but i LITERALLY never gelled this style, I always wore something like "hip-hop street fashion" or something like that, because i have enough sharp(?) facial features and i think i'm absolutely NOT a girly girl. Now i'm back to my usual style, but i added a little "girly" stuff to it, because I like this concept of mixed styles
I'm definitely a goth and it matches my personality perfectly lol, I just don't have a lot of good pieces in my closet that I wear. I'm also trying not to shop online anymore but it's hard to find goth clothes in person. I love your videos so much!
Thrift babe!! But keep in mind, some things need to be reworked. Add a ruffle trimmed ribbon to the collar, cut the hem off, legit just stick some safety pins🧷 to the pocket, anything!! You got this♠️
I was a Goth kid in the 00s where shopping online wasn't very common, and my town had no good stores. I did a lot of the thrift+diy combo. You can usually thrift something black and flowy pretty much anywhere, and maybe add a white button shirt for whaen you want contrast. You can add lace trims, grommets and cord, or crisscross ribbon to give a normal tank a "corset" look. I'd also suggest watching some of the older goth RU-vidrs who grew up in diy culture like Angela Benedict
woah, thanks so much for picking me! 🤭 (couldn't believe my own eyes right now haha) - love the fit as well, especially the idea with changing my shoelaces to switch up the vibe a little when needed 😊 also yess, I'm all in for the simple jewellery, that's what I've been searching for recently, but I haven't really found something I like yet (trying to invest into some nice jewellery that doesn't turn black after a few wears, so I'm indecisive haha)
jasmine i dont know if you'll ever read this but i just need to tell you how thankful i am for you; your vibe, your energy, how kind and supportive you are.. i've watched you for years and seeing you grow has made me so happy for you, and even given me room to grow myself. as a nonbinary/genderfluid person i struggle sometimes with my gender expression and feeling comfortable being girly or feminine without judging myself, but your attitude on it is always so refreshing and makes me feel utterly safe to just like be a pretty little girly sometimes and not care about anything but the fact that it makes me feel cute. you're not just an it girl you're THE it girl, but instead of the aloof cold and unatainable vibe you bring ur wonderful bubbly personality, which is not an insult i promise you. keep being yourself and inspiring ppl like me, i will be so so proud when you finally hit 1 million. sending so much love
14:40 omg YES! Even tho I still haven't exactly figured out my style, a HUGE step in the right direction regarding more responsible and "aware" shopping was selecting the color palette that looks best on me and I love ( spoiler- it's blues and greys ) as a starting point to look for clothes. Now as I slowly purchase new things and build out my wardrobe, everything that I progressively add in goes together with the rest, and it's super easy to mix and match while still keeping it cohesive! I know a lot of people don't mind the chaos and don't like the idea of constricting and limiting themselves to a couple colours, but it was a huge game changer for me! 10 outta 10 if you have no idea of where to start ( I'd suggest asking friends and family with a good eye which colours they think compliment you the most )
The way you put so much effort in styling your followers is so cute. I'm sure they all felt so appreciated with recieving all those advices and how much time you invested in them 💖✨
your editing is literally out of this world, the way you actually take care of so many details to deliver such a fun video blows my mind,,,, your vids are my fave thing to watch !!! 🌷🌷🌷
i dont have a specific style since i was born but i have a default one which is comfy/baggy cuz comfort is my number one concern and i hate how not having specific style confuses me but i also like that i dont have one style and i can play wit whatever style i like but im just watching cuz its jasmine ^^
i’m just now learning how to have the confidence to build my style and let my personality shine through. so your videos have been helping me i love your style so much! ♥️
it was super cool to see suggestions with what I consider (or at least want to consider) having a different style than me, especially since it’s stuff i’ve been scared to explore like a more consistently casual and relaxed style compared to what I have now! great video jasmine! 🎀🖤
i feel like youre either spring or autumn!! summer definitely washes you out in the filter, and you look amazing in green and with red hair!! you’re definitely pretty warm toned :)
okay so i went through my whole closet and wore everything and omg like literally omg i had so many "hidden treasures" or whatever and it was lowkey like i just got a bunch of new clothes andddd i loved it so yeah thank you so much for that tip it really helped me 💖🤍
if something is comfortable and makes you feel good, you gotta be doing something right! I totally love your analysis on like how it’s important to understand your personality in relation to style and aiming to be practical with your wardrobe, love it! Super awesome tips!
Started art college and our first theme is on self identity. Which is SO HARD BECAUSE I KNOW WHO I AM WHICH IS EVERYTHING. I can't define myself as one thing, ever. I love striped, I love swirls, I love dark colours, and then I love bright colours. I like a simple boyish fit, and then I also like an intricate girly fit. There is so many aesthetics I identify with, not all at once but in the moment. So my moodboard that I made was an absolute MESS
I'm absolutely not watching that because I struggle with my style right now, but because your videos are always so cool to watch. The topic doesn't even matter. I just immediately know you'll slay🔥 Soooo happy for you to almost hit the 1 mid, am here for years now and always loved you videos so so so much
omgee you should do a video for your hairstyles as a part of this fashion series!!! you have the prettiest hair and i think it’ll be easier for us to follow in video form ❤️😍
omg I love you this is my first video I've seen from your channel and I love your energy!! thanks so much for the tips, I'm cleaning out my closet AS I SPEAK and this is SO HELPFUL
Can you please make a video about what products to use to style hair in different ways and how to use those products on your hair and different styles to do?
Girlieeee i loved this video, so many actual helpful tips and OMG do the styling your followers more often, you should make it a series( like your girl talk series). Also, i saw a tiktok the other day to help you find your color palette analysis with Chat GPT, its easy and helful as well.
such useful tips and i love your vibe so much!! glad i found you. does anyone have some styling and accessorizing tips for people who don't like jewelery? i've never liked rings, necklaces etc but i just don't know what could possibly elevate outfits otherwise.
I like to see this type of videos, trying to see if i can change something. Im 20. Im not into make up, heels, doing my hair, accesories, im not. Maybe is because of my carreer, biochemistry, im in the lab, i like to follow the rules. Thats why i need to feel comfortable. But at home i just wear dresses and sandals, it the most girly moment of the day for me 😂
the best tip about shopping for me, is when I'm looking at something and I like it, I HAVE to know that I can wear it with something I already own. But ofcwe all gotta start our fashion journey somewhere.
ahhh hi jasmine! thank you so much for styling me🤍 i’ve been following you for a while now, maybe 4-5 year ago! i’m def gonna try out these new styles, and have similar pieces in my closet🤭 thank you again⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This helped me so much, but everytime i watch your videos, i want to memorize it all and i keep forgetting it! I know this is a weird problem but when the everydy life hits again i just end up wearing a pair of straigt jeans and a t-shirt. I just dont know how to switch out my wardrobe bc i dont feel confident in basic outfits and i have a really small budget. I like the academia, hippie and streetwear style, and i think your style is like, the best i've ever seen but i just dont know where to start. Btw i love your videos
i don't usually comment but damn i love watching u!! the big sis energy is definitely there and i've always wanted one fr. also i think u litr r a fashion icon ur jus that girl honestly ur too good
i remember you said in another video to create a pinterest board with all the outfits we like and see what pieces of clothing repeat more, that's how i decided i wanted wide leg jeans
I just found your channel, and I’m so glad I did. I wish I could have been here before this video. Just wanted to say that I love this and I’m definitely going to check out more of your videos after I subscribe! :D
hey, i've noticed you have a lot of maroon-ish boots, and i have a pair too! so i was wondering if you could do a video styling them? because i'm completely lost..
When you said "Im sorry I ate" i was reminded why it is totally cool and hot and sexy to wear the same outfits over and over again: because they look GREAT. cant wait to wear my favourite white pants for the fifth summer in a row!
this vide inspired me i feel like i dress cute and never take pictures of the outfit to display my style to myself and others and i feel like it can help my mentality of myself! also jasmine doesn’t call us hotties for no reason 🤭🤪
