Worried :) :( Ashton's finally learning to value his own life, but Laudna's backsliding in that regard. Too many betrayals, plus Delilah creeping into the weak moments to tip the scale. So Laudna's at risk, and Imogen's basing her own self-preservation (tether) on someone who's slipping and is at risk by extension. I wonder if we'll see Imogen's bonds with Orym and Fearne come into play if Laudna falls. Those two have been reaching out to Imogen despite Imogen focusing so much on Laudna - maybe they'd be enough to keep her present.

I don't think it's lying, consciously at least. Laudna has been abused and gaslighted by Delilah for 30 years, I believe Laudna truly believes what Delilah tells her, that she needs her, that she didn't do it on purpose, that she doesn't understand it. Laudna is complicated and flawed and also a victim and also making terrible choices

she didn’t lie to imogen. She was honest that Delilah was feeding her power which is true.

@@Mrcheckpointeh that’s a possibility for sure, it’s getting scary how undefined that difference is, and honestly I’m thinking we’ll have a Trent-like throwdown this campaign just like in M9, where they defeat the BBEG but have one last asshole to deal with that’s been there from the beginning

I ask this out of genuine curiosity and I’m someone who isn’t completely caught up with the campaign, how is the relationship toxic? (I’m fine with being given spoilers)

@@Rosebud41722 Laudna is continuing to work with Delilah and instead of listening when people try to help her instead keeps saying “let ME go” which is kind of manipulative, if somewhat innocent, and Imogen victim blames Laudna a lot

@@Nyx_404 Each to their own but they're both people who've been through a lot and love each other deeply. It's going through a pretty realistic and, personally, fascinating arc of learning how to love when you're actively dealing with your own problems. Can any of us say we approach our loved ones with perfect communication and no issues all the time? It's not their relationship that's the toxic part. It's a story and this is what we're watching them overcome. Percahlia, Vaxleth, Shadogast, and Beauyasha would be a lot more boring to watch if they didn't have their baggage to overcome together.

@@pippastrelle I wasn’t arguing that it’s not interesting, I was explaining how the relationship is somewhat toxic to the person who asked how, argue with the original commenter, I have no issue with their relationship having hardships

@@Rosebud41722 Its been like this the whole campaign: Laudna's only reason to "stay alive" (she's a hollow one, an undead in exandrian terms) is Imogen, its obsesive. Laudna will support Imogen's decisions no matter what she does and wants her to embrace her destiny as a "chosen one". Imogen -as every other reasonable person- doesnt like Delilah at all, but has said that if feeding power to Delilah means Laudna will stay alive, she accepts it. Delilah Briarwood, who -lets remember for a second- terrorized Whitestone for years and was/is a servant of The Whispered One (aka Vecna). If you love someone, you stop them before they jump off a cliff, you dont push them. you keep them in check, you give them advice so they can make better decisions in their hardest moments. Imogen and Laudna have a party, a group of people who cares deeply for them, but they really only trust each other because they're each other tethers. Laudna & Imogen are co-dependant of and not in a healthy way. Not gonna lie, its pretty romantic, but its pretty toxic at the same time. Also, Marisha herself said in a 4SD that Laudna has a toxic relationship with Imogen (and with Delilah).
