However, the writing was SO beautiful, I am more than happy to read more from him. Talking of Edgar Allan Poe. Does anybody also love his poems? I absolutely LOVE Annabel Lee.
I read Japanese Tales of Mystery and Imagination in October and omg I loved it! It was sooo creepy! I chose to read it after hearing you recommend it. Thank you! It's now one of my favorites!

Yaaay! So glad you’re feeling better and it’s so nice to see your face again! Also, I’d really like to say, as a Brazilian, that I cannot put into words how much it means to me that you have read so much classic Brazilian literature. It’s so nice that you take the time to invest in diverse literature, and that you actually enjoy it. It’s so nice to have an international booktuber talking about our classics in English so that other people have access to them, because they really are amazing, but so little of it is actually translated. Machado de Assis is one of the few translated Brazilian authors, which is kind of sad, given that we have so many really brilliant authors (but he is definitely my favorite, so I’m really glad he’s the one who is all over the world... if I had to pick one, it would totally be him).
