This video is kind of like a Garden Story review, but instead of giving the game a score, we will talk about my impressions about the game, its gameplay, music, story, and more. Garden Story, developed by Picogram, invites players into a wholesome and delightful world where they'll rebuild the community as the newly appointed Guardian of the Grove, Concord. Traverse a vibrant island to combat invasive Rot, cultivate fruity friendships, gather precious resources, restore buildings, and rebuild your home.

While I’ve already gotten and started playing Garden Story (but I’m watching the video to support), I won’t disagree that it has its flaws, especially with the combat being awkward at first. But I enjoy a lot of it so far, and there’s a lot of good on the gameplay loop and a lot of great things about it. It’s not perfect, but still very enjoyable. Thanks for the video.

100%! For an indie game, it was really fun but I always make sure to mention both +ve and -ve aspects of a title, so people do not walk in expecting something and then receive something else! I am happy you are enjoying it, I really adore it

I just love the "before you buy" video. - I truly appreciate how much concise information you mention in 10 minute time. So honest and detailed. Don't get me wrong, Miss Bubbles, I'm all for 20 to 30 minute videos as well, lol. The content you bring is so enjoyable. Garden Story looks like a grape game to play 😊❤

I feel more at ease making a Before YOU Buy, I just focus mostly on how the game FEELS for the player, which is most important and I try to make you guys feel like you are playing the game as you watch, so you make an educated purchase! So happy you enjoyed it

You are so well spoken in your review and leave no stone unturned it’s amazing how well you covered everything a possible player needs to know in ten minutes! Really well made video and I’m glad to stick around! As for the game itself, I found out about this ages ago way back in Wholesome Direct and I’ve had this on my to buy for a while, definitely going in now after seeing how promising it looks. I’m so happy it’s turning out like I hoped ❤️

I know it released very recently but saw a lot of negative feedback especially regarding combat so I decided to skip it (keep in mind I am very bad with turn-based games hahah)

Might go on the wishlist Miss Bubbles. However I got a suggestion although it's gonna give you grey hair. Perhaps do a retro review with a bubbles touch. Would love to see old school jrpgs get the Bubbles touch... (Looks at Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross)

@@MissBubbles well Chrono Trigger is on mobile, PlayStation 1 via classics and Nintendo DS. But yeah it will be pricey... Altho there are other ways....

Use the shield when the worm starts to drop the purple thingies. When the shield creates a yellowish curve, it will kill them, making it easier for you to approach the worm and hit it twice. Took me a looong time to figure it out lmao

So glad you mentioned not liking puzzles in games , especially breath of the wild. I don’t mind puzzles that much but don’t like them either. But the puzzles in breath of the wild made me quit the game and never pick it back up.

I'm not a fan of Zelda games either. Certain franchises and genres automatically turn me off like Zelda, Mario, and Platformers (Mostly because of Mario and the lack of save slots as a kid) You've got guts admitting it though! Haha
