agree 100%. i'm sure she didn't mean to cause any pain to her kids, i doubt she knew how dangerous it was to mix opioids with other stuff. she deserved another chance. gone too soon

@@usforsarah Wow! Excuse her! Excuse her! Anne Heche was not dumb! She had plenty of time to get the right help. She didn't. Why not? I had a similar situation growing up. I got help. I think she liked an aspect of her mental illness; i.e., mania (many do) and, as often as possible, didn't take her medication adequately. It'll be interesting and unfortunate to see how far down in the comments list the RU-vid censoring agent places my comment. I think they favor AH. Haha.

,Haters is a pretty strong word to use and an unfair one to describe those who aren't into minimizing and discounting the harm and devastation that Anne brought into the lives of innocent strangers. Pretty disturbing are those who have the audacity to find fault with the tenant of the house for not sending condolences to Anne's family and for stating her feelings about her material loss. There's no doubt this sweet, young woman now suffers from ptsd from the psychological trauma of Anne plowing here car into her house. Anne had the financial resources to afford the best therapists to heal any childhood trauma issues she had and the finances to check into the best rehabs money can buy and she obviously wasn't interested in sobriety. And on top of that her 2 sons will be scarred for life because of her reckless behavior.

@@feralLove I don't know if the best therapists in the world can heal the pain she suffered. But when you are a mother and you love your children, you have responsibilities. Maybe her pain was too much to bare?

If you love that much your kids you don't take drugs and speed through a house. I know she had a very difficult childhood but being responsible when you have kids, it's the best you can do.

@@scotchette no one is perfect. She messed up badly, that much is clear and if she was alive she would be ashamed and very apologetic i am sure. She wasnt like one of those heartless narcissistic psychopaths who hurt people again and again for their enjoyment and never feel bad about it

@@scotchette No doubt there are millions of parents on legally prescribed drugs whom are addicted too. Its all too easy to make judgements about others, but you really have no clue about what was going on in her life or the difficulties she was having.

She needed help and it's frustrating that people around her didn't intervene. She deserved better. I think she suffered too many heartbreaks in the last few years and didn't handle it well.

She needed people to realise drug use was a symptom of deeper underlying trauma that the body was self-medicating to attempt homeostatis with the mind. It always fails because the mind must repair / circumvent the damage. The body can only temporarily alter chemical levels to induce euphoria.

That wasn't a good thing. Her parents forced her to attend fundamentalist Christian churches. Her dad was a gay pastor who molested her. Jesus was her childhood crush..because that's how messed up her childhood was. Hopefully she's somewhere far better than Christian heaven

I wonder if in the last answer when she says “we all know who is...” is referring to Ellen or Larry? I’m not familiar with her career but felt curious

Maybe because she gets drunk, hits and runs, then crashes into houses and explodes.

@@aaronxalapa yup. I actually think it’s not entirely impossible Ellen ordered the hot on her life. No doubt in my mind she was murdered. And Ellen did hate her and had motive. Anne had recently spoken out about her in ways that Ellen wouldn’t be too happy about (furious about) and anne was afraid of her for 19 years!

I think some of them ham it up for interviews if they think that is what is expected of them too.

She's an incredible acting talent, but she just can't figure out after many years how to put a cork in her substance abuse and mental health issues and deal with how they affect her life and the people around her. Anne has done some incredible work in the acting sphere, but sweet jesus she needs somebody BAD to help her figure out her life in a really safe and effective way

I just read a comment from someone who said they called her "The Unsinkable Anne" in Hollywood. That makes a Lot of sense. She's seriously far gone, and has been boozing'n drugging over her (understandable) mental issues since before anyone can remember. I must commend her for even maneging to get this far.
