I couldn't tell you how satisfying the sequence at 9:33 was as a Garde main. Talon, Mimikyu and Umbreon and three of the most annoying Pokémon to go up against as a Garde and they almost always target you if they can. Seeing all three drop despite being in MELEE range has helped me heal some trauma ahhahahaha

I had a Gardevoir match where the other team destroyed all of our goals and our team wanted to surrender. I refused and at the ray fight they killed all of us except me. They were dumb enough to start hitting rayquaza even though they didn’t need it. I stole it and killed there whole team with just my ult and our team won. It was the craziest comeback in unite history for me

I’ve had a lot of games where the team is bad until Ray fight and vice versa. Never surrender before 2:00 (unless there’s only four of you from a leaver).

I sometimes have those games. Where you getting your ass whooped, and still you manage to win. Great feeling. But, sometimes, when my team are so bad I just want to surrender at 5min. My team sometimes make me so upset, that I would rather end the match right now, than play with them for next few minutes, even if I would win in the end.

This goes double with Garde. I might've won the most number of matches where we lost Ray and still outscored in the end with her. Her unite charge is so fast that even if you use it during the Ray fight and lose that, she can get it back in time pretty easily for a last-minute push (as we saw with that last unite).

I dealt 154k demage with gardivore using future sight and moonblast. A great Pokemon in great hands..

Yeah, some matches are rough. I played against two EX Pokémon yesterday and laned with Sableye. Lost the entire 8 minutes but got Ray.

Yeah, that Gard moveset gets extremely strong at lvl 15. The enemy team’s early game was extremely good, but sometimes late game matters more.

A few weeks ago there were like 10 seconds left in the game and we surrendered. We didn’t realize that we actually had more points than the enemy team and we were successfully stopping them from scoring. Actually, I was the only one who didn’t surrender, but I wasn’t mad when it said we surrendered cuz I thought we lost too. That’s the second time that has happened to me.

I personally never surrender. I'm in it to win it or learn along the way hopefully. I ain't no quitter. It does feel real bad when those surrender votes start popping up, because at that point you know some players have already given up. Regardless of whether your team votes the surrender or not, they're done. They've unofficially surrendered and will spend the rest of the game semi-AFK or just go full tilt, int and throw and who cares. Or worse, they're gonna play even worse on purpose because you're not letting them quit the match and they just want out.

This is why I never surrender either, I know it just grates my teammates when I keep them playing 😂

I've had games like that before. You're getting rocked the whole game, but you win the Ray team fight. More often than not, it's because you catch their carry being too full of themselves and out of position.

Ive had this happen so many times being on both of those teams. The only time i allow myself to surrender is when the opposing team gets ray and im already losing. Otherwise fight on!

Gardevoir is in a pretty good place right now I feel like. Takes skill to bring out the full potential, especially for psyshock. Currently I'm only sitting at a quad-kill, woulda been a 5 K.O. streak if my Eldegoss hadn't popped the unite in a 4v1 🤣🤣🤣

I had a game the other day where I almost gave up playing Unite ever again. I was in bot lane as Blastoise, trying to hold off 4 of the other team from taking our teir 1 tower before Regi popped up. I look at the map, and my whole team is top for some reason (Regieleki was not up). I'm holding the tier 1 tower the best I can, I just see the kill messages popping up, as their PIKACHU was soloing my entire team at top......I was like WTF?! The rest of the match pretty much went the way you think. The team never moved together, Charizard decided he just wanted to farm creeps and sat at 50 for the entire match. The only player that at least attempted to help was a Gengar, so he and I tried to pretty much snipe objectives to at least try to win. I never surrender, but that match really made me not want to play the game ever again.

Kind of unrelated, but whenever I read or hear "A9" I can't think of anything other than Arcanine, and in the context of Unite that's pretty damn confusing.

Well. That and also make your picks count. I mean you had a gengar and charizard bottom which is made that lane impossible to win in the beginning. If the enemy team were masochist they would've just not broke bottom and let you suffer without experience.

I have similar match but my opponent was more scary with lucario and comfy and they both came again in next match tsareena and comfy and in both match lucario and tsareena did 100k+ damage and damage taken was 150k+ but we win just because of ray

My future has been pretty good by NOT playing unite I only see people complaining about match making and how all there favorite mons are pretty much useless compared to a lot of the cast which is true I hop on to play a game or 2 get a bot match for a welcome back just to get all attackers next game and usually I just close out before we even hit the loading screen

In my opinion you kept your ult for too long. You were waiting for that perfect 4-men ult that never happened and you ended up throwing it for the first time at the 3 minute mark.

Only time i've ever ragequitted unite was when 2/5 of my team was afk. Came back 5 minutes later and rejoined, ended up winning with 2/5th of the team as bots.
