Oh snap! I was the Metagross in that game! "HelpKarpLane" since I main Gyarados :D. Great game Jake, and this is why I think Hyperspace Hole is really the only option for Hoopa. Unite move aside it helps so much even if only 1-2 people know what they are doing on your team, and the healing it provides by basing.
Having 1-2 people on your team who know what they're doing is something you get in like 1 out of every 10 games. Which is why Hoopa is basically unplayable in soloq.
@@PhoenixOfTheNight To each their own for sure. If you're having fun with it, go for it. I think not picking HSH is missing out on what makes Hoopa, Hoopa, ya know? Might as well play another support at that point 🤷♂
If the Hoopa knows what they’re doing. What usually happens with randoms is they involuntarily HSH you when you get CC’d, even though you’re fine and could have picked up a KO.
No way you could be worse. All you have to do is place portals when you think your teammate will get low soon, and be with your team. Those other dudes don't even understand how to stand on a blue circle
Underrated strategy is stealing bosses with hyperspace hole. I have done this more times than I can count, and I can just imagine the reaction from the enemy team when they see hoopa stole it
Underrated but risky strategy - if I'm getting stomped hard, tier 2's down early, I'll put all of my energy into farming and then at 2:20, just try to bait the enemy team into chasing us into our base. I've legit won unwinnable games MANY times by baiting the enemy into throwing.
This is especially frustrating to be on the receiving end of. I’m helplessly spamming retreat as my team decides the best way to secure victory is to blow their unite moves fighting them on their spawn right before Ray. So now I have to steal Ray 1v5 or we lose. Wonderful. You’d think it’d get better as you rank up, but it actually gets worse.
Yeah that's very convenient because it's faster and it doesn't put your portal return on cooldown, but it does take some practice. This is honestly such a high skill level mon, I kinda suck with it still but it's one I'd really like to get better with
Definitely helped that you guys knew how to defend, had strong mons that could break shields easily and that the enemy was relatively squishy (and you guys had koed crustle before they took ray). Anything else and the enemy could have probably overscored in the last minute. Absolutely great strat when you know the team is cooperative!
Im the guy who suggested them to add the auto decline surrender option in the options. It took them many seasons to implement but it's there. No more screen blocking during the most important minutes of the game.
Bro, I've been playing this game for four days and I buyed the most expensive Pokemon I saw which was useless 😢.Now I'm regretting please recommend a Pokemon for me
Do you want to frontline for your team in team fights(defender), or provide them with hp and helping them farm(supporter), or you want to deal a lot of damage but you need to be in the backline of your defenders because you are extremely squishy(attackers), or you want to be an assassin with high burst damage(Speedster), or you can do all of this a little bit(all rounder)
I love playing hoopa in standard with my friends but in ranked im just better as a Gardevoir main tbh. Hoopa it’s just so hard to carry and I love to carry so it never works out
If I'm not wrong, I've seen japanese team using score comp without hoopa and did the exact same thing, the enemy just didn't had any coins left to score after securing ray
Greaaaaat, now there will be a rise in the amount of hoopa players who will want to try this. Any new spragels strat that comes out, that’s all I’ll see in game until the next video comes out. I hate it, but it’s a solid strategy. 10/10
Underrated but difficult is having hyperspace hoopa and mew do his boosted attack. If you time it right you can attack enemy from home base and does so much damage
So, I have this strategy where, around the 2:30 mark i hide in a bush near the enemy tier 2 goal, and then, when the point value is double, I score a TON of points!! They never see it coming! I almost always get MVP, too!! I always hear people say this is a bad idea, but I think it might just be underrated...
Mvp doesn't mean anything if you got it from this, all you did is score once and LEAVE YOUR ENTIRE TEAM BEHIND, ON A 4V5. This is called backcapping, you should not do that because whenyou are scoring the goal, the enemy team will know it and immediately start fighting you team, unless you can get back within 10 seconds, you would mostly lose the ray fight, and ray fight teamwipe mostly means at least +200 or 300 points for the team who got ray, which is way more points than your +100. Its a bad idea, dont do that unless you are using stuff like dodrio or talon or anything that can get back immediately to the ray fight in 5 seconds. Its underrated because mostly only noobs or dumb people do it without thinking about the potential consequence with the risk to reward ratio. Dont do that unless you know what you are doing and if you lose even after using this "underrated" "enemies cannot see it coming" strat after the enemy got ray and won the fight, your whole team would know who lost them the game and blame it on you, yeah sure you got your "fake"non deserved and non team wise mvp, but your whole team would know you never deserved it because of this trash rating system, even worse is that you are feeling better about yourself for doing the wrong thing because you got the "mvp" and you will never correct that mistake. Please dont do that, many people just like me lost so much games because of that one single teammate doing that and we all despise it.
I love your videos, especially the tier lists and the streams, but it's so funny to watch after you put a video about a specific build or specific pokémon out. I see an influx in that specific pokémon or play style and I get to s*** all over them. It's awesome! Thank you for influencing people to be not that good at this game
I mean, very basic but something people need to start actively doing more: jungle invading the enemy team when their jungler stays in the lane for too long after first gank.
I find a lot of good plays with trick and shadow ball in solo cues. Teammates my not use the hyperspace hole but always benefit form the shield of trick
Why no one talks about how messed up the mobile version of Pokemon Unite cursor is. The screen and moves are hard to scroll down but rather easy to scroll up because all the damn buttons are next to the edge of the darn screen. Ridiculous
not up and down. only left and right. And those buttons are next to the edge of the screen. When you try dragging a move to lower screen it is harder than dragging upward. I don't think switch player has that issue.@@altarialover
lol....this is already so old. The 1st week when hoopa was released, players already play a 3-2 style, one accompany hoopa to enemy zone, 3 to burn ray. When the going gets tough, all u need is just KO enemies and score, leaving ray intact until enemies respawn and try to go ray and repeat.
That's edited on to the video, but it's a reference to that game mode where you face famous trainers from the Pokémon franchise and when they use a unite move, a special animation from those trainers appears briefly.
@@MusicComet you are thinking wrong, it's inspired by it, he played the mode, saw it, liked it, said he would like something like that for himself or the players in this case and implemented it for future videos to this day.
I'm so tired of losing bc my teammates won't work together and help each other. My user is Bdazzed. If ur a strategist and a team player who's also tired plz add me. I'm on every day of the week tbh
