In this video , If you're a poor test taker DON'T WORRY so was I , I will discuss ways to overcome this issue, and do better on exams while you're on your road to becoming an Anesthesiologist.
My name is Dr. Karen Francois and I am a 5th year Attending physician based out of NY. These stories will chronicle my life in Anesthesia, as an Anesthesiologist and home life with my husband and 3 children. Through these glimpses into my life I hope to inspire and motivate young women and men into seriously considering Anesthesia as a career choice.
I am a Doctor and I was born and raised in the projects of the Bronx, NY and I made it to become a highly respected physician If I can do it, then anyone else in my situation can do the same.

My 12-year-old daughter heard you say that you had test taking anxiety and she’s instantly enlightened. I, as her mother tell her that I too have test taking anxiety and somehow that information doesn’t quite hit the same way. Nonetheless, thank you.

3 Anesthesia & me Okay sometimes it’s difficult to find the ones with your goal in mind. But I have some study buddies for next semester. They aren’t premed but we are all Biology majors so we are helping each other out in our courses. I hope to find a premed study group when I transfer to my four year institution.

Yes people on the premed track tend to be very motivated and make great study partners..hopefully there are some you get along well with in your program. Look for people who will also hold you accountable too! All the best to you!

However… Poor test takers typically will remain port test takers throughout their lives. It’s not a matter of how much you study but rather how those poor test takers interpret the questions. This is what leads to discouragement, frustration and worsened anxiety.
