Having an emotional attachment to a narcissist is the worst because they can do serious damage and it can take years to heal from them these are demons in human forms
I met at least 3 narcicissts in my life, who tried everything to destroy me. The process was always the same. Its actually easy to identify them. You really have to escape, because they will never stop their devilish work! But one thing you have to ask yourself: What in you feels so unworthy and small, that makes you falling for their lovebombing? Do you really need someone, who puts you on a pedestral? So, the only good thing about these foul folks is, that they show you the crack in the shell. They show you, what you still refuse to embrace and love in yourself. I think once you do, you will be immune to that dangerous parasites. This is something, that I'm telling myself. Wish you all the best!
They will also use gifts as manipulation. Supposedly to apologize but if you accept it they genuinely believe you took them back and won't bring up the past. If you do they will say they did something nice and this is how you treat them? Or they will threaten to take the gift back and never give you nothing again since your ungrateful

My advise would be to all never ever participate in their games... They want a reaction out of you... And robb u off the empathy you have. They are soul suckers protect your soul its not worth it don't seek revenge just dissociate yourself.
