I am terrible at it. It is incredibly difficult and risky in todays climate to make a move based on body language. The only "for sure" for me is extended eye contact. Women take note: If you like a man, make heavy eye contact.

Or they give you all the like signs, then gets jealous when she sees you around other women at the office (not being flirty), talks you up to her team and saying how your the only one who can solve the issue, over compliments you, other people are noticing her behavior around you, her remembering your quotes like the gospel. She leans in closely, has come up from behind while I am sitting and and whispers, her eye dilate, she broke the touch barrier, found out about her birthday and dropped a gift and she screamed for joy and hugged and did not want to let go to only friendzone you when you ask her out. Then gets angry when when you decline the friendzone.

A woman migt be in love with you, but if you have to ask her if she likes you she'll say no because asking demonstrates a lack of confidence, as well as indicates either that you aren't paying attention, or that you aren't able to recognize her signals, which then tells her either you don't like her or you aren't good with women. They rather you either take a shot and miss, or state your feelings first. The key if you're going to state that youre into her is to bluntly tell her youre interested, she's hot, and follow that with a concrete plan to connect in some way she can say yes or no to. If she says yes, say awesome, then end the conversation once all the arrangements are made and contact is established, then don't bother her again until its time to do whatever you planned. If she says no, then say awesome, wait for a natural end to the conversation, but end it quickly after she says no, and then go about your life as though you aren't bothered or affected at all, and when you cross paths with her naturally smile, chat with her if she chats with you, keep it all brief, and continue living life. If she isnt interested at first, being that way about her rejection will either gain her interest since most men will continue to pressure her for some kinda date or hookup, and if she genuinely is never interested well, at least you had a successful interaction and potentially made a friend. Key thing is its your friend, you aren't friendzoned, dont go out of your way going above and beyond doing things for her and if she contacts you keep things at arms length and casual. If she ever becomes interested in you that ball is in her court to play. You stated your interest already, so to move forward she has to indicate hers and be amenable to a date if you're even still interested/available when that happens.

They don't actually teach "body language" interpretation in the master's of psychology. They can sometimes teach it in the BA in behavioural science but it's generally a subject taught by the police and FBI.

Tell her how much her friendship has been to you and that you don’t want to destroy it. Put yourself in an obvious vulnerable position. Then just ask her out. Let her know that you’ll understand if she says no and that nothing could take away your friendship even if she says no to you. Give her an out just in case. - you never know!
