Hi Amanda 💐 and Craig. Thanks for the tour. There are so many options on how to set up, and decorate this house !! The 2 doors and 2 decks are great… and who wouldn’t want Ace to be their first *Welcome* visitor !!
Loved the tour. The homeowner ( Craig) has done an excellent job of arranging the things that are important to him. His dog Buddy seems to love it there too. I'd say the back porch was a plus in his decision to purchase.
Craig's "row row row your boat" comment reminded me of when I had a major surgery. I was 40 and got sent to a nursing home for physical rehab for a couple of weeks after the surgery. My elderly mother visited. She wanted to know why I wasn't out in the dining room where they were having someone singing and playing music. Well, my mother was 76 and most of the people there were 85 or 90. The music wasn't even from her generation, nevermind mine! Lol Let's just say that I know where Craig is coming from on that one!
Something to think about is if you have a building that you can put in a store for the community and outside the community to shop. It would be a consignment store so as people move to the community they can sell stuff they don't need anymore as they downsize. Open it up to the public so that other towns can shop there too. I love this tiny home community concept and wish I could put one in near me in Southwestern Ontario Canada.
Then it would not be a, "Private Community"... If I lived there as an elderly person I would not want outsiders coming in like that. It takes away from that feel of safety. A consignment store where the residents can take nice, clean, laundered garments, knick-knacks, etc as such to be sold amongst just them sounds nice though... And then another thot of possibly even a small store that could poss carry bare necessity food items. etc, not a massive groc store, but something like some campgrounds have on their property to carry milk, bread, eggs, few vegetables such as tomatoes, onions, lettuce, deli meats... when you run out of the main items... but there again that would be getting into a lot of red tape. Anyway I love seeing these Tiny Homes.
Kevin, we are in BC, let us know if you get serious about starting a community in Canada. ITH North :) Emily in the office has our contact info. Leslie and Hamza
LOVE these tours, and seeing how pleasant it is living in a tiny house with a close-knit community feeling. Craig's house is lovely and so functional, especially with the two doors and the deck off the back. The lift-top dining table is a clever idea, as well as so much of the storage. I'm wondering, if the bathroom door had been a barn door, could he have added the storage onto it? Thanks for sharing your home with us!
Thank you Craig for inviting us into your home.i love how you used your spaces throughout. And the first thing I noticed was your Mom's beautiful artwork. You have a wonderful place and I know your excited, to be their.
Bring back the community telephone book . Where it will list your neighbors and what they do. Like work or retired if single.. plus, what about sewing? You know if I lived there. I sew I am a retired interior designer plus bulider, painter faux , cabinets, I love watching you guys!! You guys are very entertaining!!! At the same time, you are creating tiny homes is the way to go!!!!!
Yes, listing hobbies or interests can help create connections in the community. Maybe a "residents tab" on the main ITH website... Where residents would have the password to log in. Each person could fill out their profile info as they see fit, with as little or as much info as they are comfortable with
Lovely cozy home Craig, good luck on the job search... How about management at the home depot? Would get a discount on needed building supplies... Win win.. And they must be always hiring in the medical field. Good luck with the Reno's... And yes, unseasonably cold winter this year. We are out west, and for some reason often have tandom weather bouts... We had snow and cold snap same timing... But we are north, so quite a bit colder.... The coldest weather we have ever had here. Glad you and buddy are settling in nicely, need a community store/coffee shop, so residents can connect all year
Thanks, Amanda and Melody, for the Incredible Tour! Thank you, Craig, for letting us tour your home! Wow, God was really watching out for you on the timing of your home sale and this purchase. That was wonderful! Get an efficient wall panel heater, a fleece blanket, fleece sweat pants & a jacket to get through the winters in comfort. Buddy can get a fleece jacket, too. That's what we do here in Oregon where it's colder. LOVE your kitchen❣️
Ace and Amanda is a riot. Omg Ace this is the 1st good laugh I've had in a long time. I've got tears rollen. My Sadie would welcome Ace. She tired of just me. Ahhh
Thank you Craig for allowing us to tour your home. I applaud you with what you have done to create storage in your tiny home and will be saving this video to implement the ideas into my own tiny home someday. 😊 Another fabulous ITH Home Tour ladies, keep up the great job. 👏👏👏 By the way, when I am able to become part of the ITH community Ace would always be welcome to visit, of course Amanda, Randy and others are as well 😉 Blessings and Peace 🕊 ☦️ 🙏 GOD Bless America ❤️ 🇺🇸
I appreciate your concern about affordable housing and people being able to afford their medications. The house tour was great. He did a lot of great things for organization and the gated porch was great.
Craig has such an easy laid back sweet personality he fits in perfectly. He's done an awesome job putting his new home together so organized and neat! Love it!
Amanda, that JACKET! It is so YOU! I love it 😘. I enjoyed this tour. This is a fabulous home. Amazing what can be done in a small space. It's just incredible! Thank you Craig for opening your home to us all. Looking forward to seeing your planned updates. 44:01
Those paintings are real places! She painted "Motif #1", which is the red fishing shack on the wharf at the end of my street in Rockport, MA. It was dubbed Motif #1 by an art teacher here whose students all painted that building. Love it!
Craig did a fantastic job! Love his Mothers art work. Thanks for the wonderful tour. Much love and many blessings all Amanda can you start linking some of the things people used that they got from Amazon, ikea or wherever? So people that like certain things can go to the link and buy them. Thank you in advance for your consideration
This is a great home and I can't wait to see the update on it. Amanda I love the Sasquatch jacket, where can I get one of those? Your friends on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Donna and Gary We watch y'all every time you post a video.
Welcome craig to the south. Just wanted to say hi and hope that you know that we appreciate your letting us take the tour of your home.. Amanda you are the best 👌. Praying for you and randy. You had a dream for the ordinary people and we have went along with you both. ❤
Awesome video, thank you! I do wonder if one day ITH would help connect buyers and owners at incredible properties. This gentleman's story is neat and not a rare one. So glad he bought this home and lot, its a great home on a big space, and a great corner lot! We love walking by it when we are there on the miligan mile!
Thank you Craig for letting us tour your lovely home. I love the unique way you've decorated and utilized your space.❤❤ *Tip to Amanda- please let them answer before you jump in. I love your enthusiasm tho*❤❤
Nice house Craig seems like really nice guy and he's Ace approved 😂 this house will look good in red your right about the relationship with dogs Amanda when you get a inside dog it's way different than the outside watch dog after getting our little shizus I get it too I'm glad that he rescued little buddy he's a sweet little guy
Great organization! The painting g of the red fishing shack looks like the famous one in Rockport , MA. I have a very similar painting. The magnetic shelves are just perfect!
I want to buy Graig’s stove! It’s just what I’m looking for! I’d like it, in what ever I can purchase in April. When the Lord said I’m moving from Nevada to Tennessee? This faith walking is scary!!😂😂😂❤❤
Great interview, GREAT INCREDIBLE TOUR Amanda. So glad Greg lives being at INCREDIBLE PROPERTIES. It is a testimony of an incredible place to live, nay sayers move on.
Great tour. I think Craig will be a real asset to the community. It's interesting seeing how everybody makes their spaces to suit themselves. Looking forward to seeing the changes he makes in the future. Melody -- great job.
Hi Amanda and Craig, love your home and your story. I'm also from California and with everything going on and prices keep rising. I want to come and see the tiny home community. This is really a great idea especially for all home prices we can afford California anymore. 😍✌️
Love Buddy! I am waiting to find a resale in the forest on one floor. I watch the videos all the time and am often laughing out loud when Amanda and Randy do their banter! They are the best! Amanda is awesome as well as Randy! My price range is 50 all in. 🥰👍🏻
Great interview, Amanda. Craig, nice to meet you. You have a fantastic, well appointed home for yourself. Love so much about it. Front and back porches too. Real stairs and nice sleeping loft. (The bed story was funny but must have been startling to say the least. Lol.)Great storage, too. It looks homey with your photos and Mom's paintings. Looking forward to seeing updates!
I enjoy seeing the inside of a man’s house. Craig is very organized. I can’t believe he just moved in in November and is ready to do a tour by the end of January. Great job. I’m on the beach in a wooden RJO and have to say I’m kind of jealous of all the magnetic shelves and what not available. I love the wall in the kitchen on the wall of the bathroom with all of his spices, pans and all he was able to do. Welcome to the community Craig!
My husband and I bought a 11.6’ x 36’ tiny house and placed it on the coast of NC. It had two lofts and was beautiful. We had it for 5 years and sold it last August. These homes are selling like hotcakes! They make great vacation getaways.
On behalf of those of us prone to motion sickness, pretty please let Melody hold the camera for all future videos. I usually can't watch them. This is wonderful.
wow Amanda that was a good tour & very interesting to see how Craig is making the home “his”! Like the idea of his changes that will benefit him! Melody did a great job scanning the areas to see all!👏 Thanks to Craig for the tour & Amanda for sharing it with us! I live in CA & know the crazy prices for homes & rent are out of a lot of people reaches! Would love to be part of one of the tiny home communities! Amanda, your top made you look like a cuddly Koala bear! Keep up the great work! 👏😉🫶
Melody did great with the camera work. Nice n slow so we don't get dizzy, lol....also love it when they pan out a bit here and there to see the entire scope, fun video today.
Love your home Craig. Great tour. Glad you weren’t knocked off the loft when putting the mattress on. ITH is a great place and wonderful people. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
Great video. Welcome to Craig and Buddy! What a nice man and a great addition to the Prairie community!! What a joy to be on Ace’s rotation, right Craig? I love the porches on the front and back due to the longer trailer. I love Craig’s big couch and clever magnetic storage tools! Can’t wait to see his changes and agree, will be on pins and needles to see if Craig goes with red or with something else!!
Thanks for allowing us to view your home Craig. Your best friend is another lucky resident. I want these communities to be developed in our PNW. Support is an important buzz word going forward. It is true social security. Close knit with respectful boundaries . Meteoric is the speed you’ve reached and it is gratifying to be recognized as a new Incredible American Dream coming true. Touchdown And Slam Dunk brought to US by your Dream Team. Raw rah rah ya’all.
I love his dog has a friend visiting (ACE), that is hysterical...Amanda, you crack me up with the Row, Row, Your Boat comment, you are such a Quick Wit. I love it when u laugh and smile it cracks me up. What a fun tour. I would love this layout. I would put my pups potty pad on back deck. I made one from Fresh Patch has a metal tray, the bigger one (drill holes in bottom) and then I buy the fake grass from Lowe's/Home Depot and change it out every month or two. I used pheromone spray to get him to use it the first time. Maybe his pup would like that in winter.
What a nice home and gentleman...and the dog of course..Great Job on the video Amanda. It is always refreshing to see what is going on there, and in the near future..I recommend your company as much as possible...Best in the business at every level. Been watching you since the beginning.
Awe this is what I would love to do in Utah. Please come here. I send Tim information on rules in Utah and where there is property. I would love to get a ITH incredicottage. We have all four seasons here and it would be so fun to have a community like ITH has.
