Nanette is hilarious and yet charming. Her decorating skills are second to none. As Nanette said her personality is 180 degrees from her husband Richard, and that is what makes there marriage work. This Charleston is definitely a Nanette home. You can feel the love that has been put into this home. ❤️
I want to go tiny because I'm getting up there in years. But I have a house furnished with antiques. I cherish them, because most of them are family heirlooms. My daughter doesn't want hardly any of them, so I'm having trouble letting go. They just moved 5 hours away, so I'm starting to downsize, so I can't put a tiny on their farm. I was thrilled to see all of those antiques! It can be done. I laughed so much at this video. You guys do have chemistry
Just got a curved shower curtain that extends out at the top you'll be surprised at how much more room it gives you where needed. Just make sure that the bottom of the curtain fits well inside at the bottom of the shower you can use magnets to make sure it stays inside of your shower
America has fallen in love with Randy and Amanda! This woman is adorable, and her home is just perfect. I’ve had a heart attack and can talk, talk, talk. My husband and I live in a custom Tiny Home. We live in Texas, but watching all of your videos, makes me want to move to The Forrest or The Mountain, just to be near all of you :o)
This quote popped into my head when you were talking about the smell of her home. "You smell like old people and soap. I love the smell of old people and soap." Willy Wonka Absolutely beautiful. English cottage feel for sure. She is a hoot. Her neighbors will enjoy talking to her. This has got to be one of my favorite tours.❤
Awe she would be fun shopping antique with!!! Loved Moonlighting, she’s spot on with Your chemistry ❤Nannette is so fun we would be great neighbors I wish I had a tiny home there, more and more I watch I wish my husband would be on board.
I’m a Michigander and I approve of your choice of Tennessee. It’s a beautiful state and warm! This is totally charming!!! I love the placement of your beautiful hutch! Your furniture is perfection! A cool little chandelier would look sweet in your bathroom! You’ve worked magic in this tiny space…pure magic! 🧡🧡🧡
Nanette please keep the gorgous cuboard, right where it is 😚Richard, Nanette and Max 🐕 welcome to East Tennessee. I'm moving there too, Buffalo Creek 🐃 I hope to doll my place up. Love, love, love this video ❤ God bless
Wow🎉❤🎉she's got the eye for this!! Beautiful home she truly transformed it to express who she is. Excellent recording Amanda!! Thanks for going upstairs. I love seeing the happy ITH homeowners!!!
Absolutely gorgeous!! English Cottage is my favorite and it's an awesome choice for any tiny home no matter the size. Painting everything except the gorgeous ceiling white or just a hint of color as well as the baseboards and trim will always make the house look bigger of course large windows as well well done!! Can't wait until we get ours May God continue to bless all of you love Sue and Tommy
OMG !! This is my style and vision for decorating a tiny home. Regular size furniture with a large hutch, drapes are a must, white walls and trim. I decorate like her with wicker baskets on top of a hutch, fruit pictures and brass candle holders. I actually have those exact bird pictures in my dining room. I once had a full-size Jenny Lind bed like that when my daughter was a baby to match her Jenny Lind baby bed. I prefer the 2" wood blinds, but her blinds are really nice and practical. Surprised she removed the sconce lighting as I think it would have added to the charm. Nanette, Great job, so charming and inviting!! Randy and Amanda, I enjoy your videos immensely. I sometimes dream of downsizing and if I did the Charleston would be my choice.
Thank You Annette and Richard for the tour of your lovely home, it is so quaint and charming and yes it gives me the feeling of an English cottage. I am also a Michigander, born, raised and lived here all my life. I have hopes of moving to East Tennessee someday, all in God's timing of course. Since my Cancer journey in 2017, my body does not cope well with the bitter cold winters here anymore and I believe the mild winters in Tennessee will do my body good. Thank You Amanda and Randy for the video and all you are doing with your tiny homes and affordable living. Blessings and Peace 🕊✝️🙏🕊
Great home! Nanette has done a beautiful job decorating. I really like the juxtaposition of the antique dark wood cabinette with the lighter wood stairs and trim. It's interesting how a few larger pieces can make a small space look large! I showed my husband a few shots of the rooms to my husband and said, "Now, does that look like a tiny house?" and he said, "No!" The English Cottage look really suits these homes well! Great tour!
7:46 It's true that painting the trim the same color as the walls creates spaciousness by preventing contrasting lines from stopping the eye. So fun to see a tiny house decorated by someone who really loves design! What a delightful woman!
Those covers for those sconces she took down. Are in Lowe’s with the door knobs etc. it is like a door stop. To prevent you from putting a big hole. In the wall from the doorknob. Not sure what they are called but that is where you will find them!
The home has been done beautifully. The bed is beautiful ,I love the height of it too.Nice Chintz curtains ,a cream background with roses and flowers all over them would make the bedroom look very English cottage and perhaps some matching pillows too to bring the room together. Our courage’s usually have a lot of pretty ornaments and vases of flowers !as well as table lamps for a cosy evening .They also are big on rugs on the floor too.,as well as throws on furniture. Its all about being cosy and welcoming and the flowered curtains, bringing the outside in,because we seem to have such long winters. Also tartans are used as well the softer ones not the bright ones. But I really love what she’s done!it’s much nicer than the same type of designs everyone goes for.🥰
Beautiful home and it just goes to show you that no matter what style your going for, even though its a tiny home, it is achievable with some imagination and planning.
IMHO, a design trick she uses is to paint the (poly. wood) corner molding to match the walls. Having the wood color breaks up the line of sight, therefore makes the rooms appear smaller. YOU definitely did a great job with your beautiful vintage English cottage style in your living room and I'm sure the whole home will be amazing as you finish each room. 👏 I love it! Well done! 🤩
Love these showcase stories! Nanette should host a page to follow for this beautiful cottage decorating! I appreciate how Randy tuned in to her collaborative input. Looking forward to seeing Nannette's finished home.Give that lady some crystal style door knobs!
Wow !!!! So beautiful!!!!! Perfection!!!! Everyone is doing such a great job on decorating their Tiny homes. I really enjoy these videos. Thank y’all for sharing your beautiful homes. God Bless 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻❤️🇺🇸🏠🐶
These homes could benefit from being strapped down..All shed type buildings in Florida are strapped down..The way the weather has changed, it would be a disaster if high winds were to come through the neighborhood.
Hi Annette I love your style and I love you little Boston Terrier my favorite puppy you're the cutest I had so much fun watching your video with Randy and Amanda
Randy I believe Shipshewana is in Indiana. It is Amish Country, and they sell lots of craft! Of course, there could be one in Michigan Too! I have been a fan for so long but just got out of hospital from triple bypass surgery after heart attack!!! I had to set down and catch up on my missed videos! 14 days' worth. You keep up the good work with ITH and also eating healthy! I am trying to get up there. In fact, I still have a letter I wanted to mail to you and Amanda in my purse that I did not mail before I had my heart attack!! Oh, Randy you are so right about eating the right things! I was 90% blocked in two arteries and 96% in one! You are what you eat. Keep it up Randy, I know you eat well! Hello to Amanda as well!
This is the most beautifully decorated home I have seen in a tiny house. She really paid attention to what she wanted to put in it. She seemed to have decorated in a new way.
I love antique furniture it makes a home a home always and vintage dishes and chandeliers and everything vintage and Victorian furniture makes agreat vibe ❤😊
The lady could put a pull down closet rod in the opening of the loft on the bedroom side for extra closet space. They come in many sizes priced $47 and on up. Also, right now Kohls has a curtain called "Waverly 1-Panel Spring Bling Window Curtain" in color called Vapor that has English garden flowers and the butter/gold and green in it.
@@anonymous-ir3tf and how much does a Tumbleweed Tiny house cost? They might a great product no doubt but the essence of a tiny house is to reduce cost, live simply, de clutter your entire existence…..is it not? Do they make a $15,000 DIY Tiny House? Correct me if I’m wrong…..
@@anonymous-ir3tf why do you troll ITH? Your comments are always negative. You must have way too much free time on your hands. Go be productive in society and leave people alone who want to purchase or inquire from ITH.
@@anonymous-ir3tf they are doing a run of $15,000 Tiny houses right now as we speak, so stop with your nonsense and stop with the tough guy attitude, really tough behind a keyboard
@@anonymous-ir3tf “naive fools” what’s your highest educational level, I have a masters degree, let’s see your doctorate. I say to each his own, you want to spend $150k on a tiny, then go right ahead, I feel the whole idea of a tiny house is relieving your economic burden of a traditional home. So yes cheap is the operative word for me. $15k is cheap, @ $150k I will then choose a condo or some other fixed dwelling. Please stop with your negativity and let’s end this useless back and forth here!
@@anonymous-ir3tf to each his own my man. Some people like the “DIY” nature of it, or the fact that it is saving Steel Panels from the landfill. You make it pretty with your own little touches, that appeals to some people, apparently not to you and that’s fine. He is trying to offer a cost conscious approach to tiny living, if you don’t like it, then that’s your choice. Have a great night but please stop with the insults.
