Many people think like you think they have a clue of what life is. I Disagree i would say, you have a clue about what life is, but not what is is suppose to be...thats a big difference. If you want people to love you..then the chance is big you are empty inside.... If you don't care if people hate or love you but you in return choose to love as a standard, chances are high you are not that empty inside anymore

If you truly love someone, you'd do anything for them and not expect anything in return (just like parents). If they reciprocate, that's a bonus. I've had bad experiences too which gave me this perspective cos it's easier to not expect reciprocation than to spend energy getting upset, or mad when you expect reciprocation and it doesn't happen.

I should've done it anyway, but instead I waited for the moment to pass and think "better luck next time I guess". There never came a next time. Moments like these happened all the time, yet I rarely acted on it. I wish I'd just lived in the moment instead of making perfect plans for the future that never came. What do you have to lose is the question you should be asking. Unless someone can get hurt, just do it. Dance with her, kiss her, hold her hand and play hide and seek in the woods.
