If you want to put new seats in your VW Beetle and you have good seat rails try this. 

I was stumped trying to put a set of bucket seats in my old Beetle. If I used the seat rails that came with the seats I had to do a bunch of cutting to the floor pan. It dawned on me that I could just remove all the upholstery from the seat bottom and use that frame to hold the new seats.
