The day after i came back to God after 20 years away from him, I went and bought a simple golf chain and cross. It's so i always remember how bad things got without HIM. I don't care if anyone ever sees it. He knows why it's there. I'm grateful for His grace, mercy, and love. He sent perfection to save imperfection.
@@mcdonaldsbetterthanburgerking_An upside down cross is not a sign of satan, people often mistake this. It’s Saint Peters cross, which is a Christian symbol
Jesus tells you to bear the cross before he was even thought of being crucified...ok I keep a crucifix on because Jesus died for my sins so he symbolically sits on my heart so threw my belief from actually reading a Bible this dude doesn't know what he is talking about ......I love Jesus and not afraid to admit it
I know that I've copied the KJV by hand and read it many ah Time.. but people say and stuff like this on the Internet is kind of a joke and it's against all us Christians... You don't see a lot of people knocking Muslim or Jewish people like this in public ...
I wear cross because I keep God close to my heart. I wear it because it represents the fact that he died for our sins. I wear the cross cause it Makes me feel safe Knowing that God will always be there for me. I love God and always will love God. I am his child He is my Father And savier
Saying your flesh is crucified literally means to stop yourself from sinning willingly and wearing the cross to show off God’s sacrifice for us, so that love could win.
I always carry a cross to defend myself from evil and even bullies from school so that's why I need Jesus to protect me forever and ever before God returns for the day of judgment day.
Hello!! Just wanted to remind you that the One we serve protects us from evil, not the things we wear or carry that remind us of Him and His promises and commandments! I sincerely hope that you escape this bullying! Praying for you! 💗
@@marcozaragoza6132 Have you told an authority figure in your school about this bullying? A trusted teacher or a principal? If you haven't, please try that!
Great message brother! I wear my cross daily and carry my cross not with my own strength but through the strength that comes through Him. We need to convict our backslidden brothers and sisters and expose the wolves that hide in our fold, His fold. Hopefully this shared message blows up for all to see that we need to live with the same realization that Paul had when he wrote Galatians 2:20- I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives through me- for the life I live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Blessings brother and have a merry Christmas!
u can wear a cross but be aware that u wera only cross necklace , not a cross on which jesus statue is attached. because our god is alive ... god bless u all .amen..
The cross is a symbol of Jesus’ passion, it symbolizes that he gave his life for us, there is nothing wrong in wearing a cross necklace because it can serve as a reminder that Jesus Christ gave his life for our sins and rose three days later.
@@pezequilibradohace5anos538 I think he means a cross with the Jesus attached to the cross bc he is no longer on the cross but well alive and within us all
@@jonathanbriseno3159 I have one, and it still serves as a reminder of how God humbled himself for us, the crucifixion happened and his sacrifice is still important to this very day.
If it is an idol to you and you bow down and worship that cross then you shouldn't be wearing it but it resembles the sacrifice Christ made for us and that's why we wear it we don't wear to worship an object we wear it because we are Christian and we were because of what he did for us it is nothing to be worshiped only God so unless you can provide what you just said out of the Bible then I'll have a change in mind but do not twist God's words when you repeat because I already know exactly what you can and cannot do without cross that God does stay very plainly. First off don't worship it that's all he really says about idols they are not to be worshiped
Why is it that there are so many Christian’s trying to take away traditions of other Christian’s. I’ve heard people say crosses are idolatry, or that Christmas is pagan. They try to strip away God from many other things that now belong to God.
People call themselves Christians but there’s plenty of Bible verses that are against idols. Just praying directly to God is all you gotta do. Material world doesn’t matter. The cross won’t help you cross over. I literally just saw this ad for a two-toned cross necklace that started off with them saying that “It’ll help guys get girls”then swerved to Jesus and faith. There are some wicked & manipulative people who call themselves “Christians”. Dude is actually correct. You don’t have to prove to nobody on this earth that you’re a Christian. Wearing a cross or getting one tatted on you proves nothing. Praying in public where people can see you proves nothing. Refer to Matthew 6:5-8 for further knowledge about praying. Psalms 135:15-18 for idols of the nation made of silver and gold. Some Bible verses are straightforward, others you have to take a closer look into to understand. At the end of the day, what you should be doing is loving God, and loving everyone as He commands. Hate and discrimination destroys the world.
I agree with what you say but there's no need to gaslight people who indeed pray in public or wear cross necklaces. Perhaps the necklace gives them reassurace or to keep a powerful symbol close by, perhaps there is no limitation or constriction on where you must pray, unless you are afraid of persecution. Everyone is different, thus we must accept that there are more than 1 fixated way to worship the Lord. Amen.
@@torneycarblos9140 homie, please understand what gaslighting actually means before slinging that word around. Stating facts that come straight from a source isn’t gaslighting. If I’m gaslighting, what are preachers doing?
I wear the cross necklace at work when I’m with kids who have been detained… it’s more of a conversation starter and getting them to be curious about Jesus.
I belive in god because i know he exists and im not following the crazy rules and bs i know he is with me i saw him healing me from my demons and he knows i love him and that is what matters
God judges intent. At the end of the day all Christians and Muslims intent is to follow God. Regardless of who is right and who is wrong they both have the same end goal to praise God that’s what truly matters
Man I had been doing so good and just failed despite my prayers being answered and avoiding any temptation. The devil is strong but I pray god empowers and strengthens me to carry on and eventually triumph through Christ.
Those who believe in god please book in and visit Israel you will get to see the Dead Sea scroll 📜 also you can go to the church where Jesus had died his blood is still stained on the rock I recommend touching the rock where Jesus died from the cross the actual cross from Israel and buy the necklace. That’s where you should buy it. The original cross is not a cross. It also represents the five churches.
Wearing a Ctoss or Crucifix is now a trend in most Western countries. How many celebs wear Christian symbolic piece of jewelry but don't actually live a devout Christian lifestyle ?
I struggle with this, I am still a slave to sin, it is a lifelong battle which I am currently losing I realize one cannot save himself but I struggle to conform to the will of the Lord.
Based off my experience and relationship with the lord. You don’t even need a crucifix around youre neck unless you want too yk? Once the relationship is truly built between you and the lord. You will not only internally know & feel but also will know and be aware that god is ALWAYS with you. The necklace is only a piece of material. The love from you’re relationship with the lord is always with you
We have to wear a cross because it’s a symbol that shows that we are baptized if we aren’t not baptized we can’t even be he’s children to enter into the kingdom of God we have to be baptized and we Orthodox Christians wear a cross on our neck because we are baptized and the necklace represents us being baptized and that We are the Now the children of God
nah, a cross necklace for me atleast represents what Jesus did on the cross and so it reminds me everytime I look at my necklace that Jesus died on the cross for everyones sins and rose from the dead 3 days later.
But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. (Galatians 6:14, ESV) There is nothing wrong with having a cross on you if its purpose is to remind you of the price that Christ paid to fully justify you from your sins. But yeah, I agree with the guy.
I wear the cross because, I have him close to my heart also a Buddha necklace because I represent Buddha but I love god and Jesus too and I have them over my heart and scare the bad spirits away I wear it every day even to sleep and shower he is the good who gave me life to sacrifice and enjoy meanwhile it lasts.
Some people do where cross but there are not Christian and some people are but it is wherever there believe on because we don’t know if there is a God and I’m not saying it not a God, but we don’t know until we get old and passed away and I am not Christian but I believe there is a god
I know it’s a fad, and I don’t think anybody should wear a cross, but I did see Cristiano Ronaldo wear one in Saudi Arabia in his big welcome. I thought that was a very bold statement over there, it was pretty big too, so everyone had to have seen it. Hopefully many of the youth will be interested in Christianity.
It's not a fad, celebrities/artists have been wearing gold chain crosses senses forever. Also Saudi Arabia doesn't give a fuck what religion you follow as long as you make them money.
These ignorant atheists in the comments dont understand, because they dont read, learn or even know a little about the faith. This guy is trying to say sacrafice the things that you have that came from the world of flesh, to pick up that cross and go through the narrow road which the lord has set up for you.
i make some of my own jewelry. there things called sacramentals, holy objects to to 'x' job. God has given us weapons to use in the spiritual fight. you can honor Jesus by the way you present yourself
The correct Jesus Christ is the one who died for the sins of the world. Out of love I must say that you don't know the true Jesus Christ 🙏🏼 Salvation Can Be Yours for certain when one repents and turns to and believes that Jesus Christ died for your sins and accept him as Lord and Savior ❤❤❤
Does this mean if you wear the cross you can not! Sin? Pls help me out someone with is! I respect the cross I wear and although I have fallen in to sin in the past for some reason I took it off out respect not to say that it makes it ant better. Naturally I couldn't have the cross on wilst doing something I shouldn't.
We all fall short. Don't sin KNOWING you're doing it purposely. Wear your cross especially during times like this where the world is trying to take God out the picture.
Roman’s 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified WITH him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we SHOULD not serve sin. Once you BELIEVE & Put your full faith & trust in Jesus, his death, burial, & resurrection, that he died for your sins & that he is God that give you eternal life the OLD MAN is crucified with Christ. We SHOULD not serve sin. We SHOULD walk in the spirit. We SHOULD put on the New Man. But must we to be saved? No. Obedience is Works. We are not saved by “living in obedience” or “turning away from sin” gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is NOT justified by the WORKS of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
