My 2012 Ford escape is doing that, vibrating a lot and did noticed it’s on that side where the motor mount you showed is at but I wasn’t looking at that so I’ll do as you did , have one of my kids run the engine. Thank you.
I have a 2003 Camry LE. It has 281,000. It was so quiet and no vibration UNTIL I worked on the head gasket. That required me to remove the engine mounts. After that it was vibrating bad. I replaced the front mount that was so bad it actually leaking the fluid out of it. Replace the upper torque strut which was torn up. I still have slight vibration so next the 2 other mounts, transmission and engine. I believe until i disturbed them with lifting the engine up and down they were barely holding on. When I removed 2 and raised the engine all heck broke loose LOL. They were close to being dead already but the moving just finally killed them. Yes, I cleaned the MAF, put new TB in, checked all the hoses, new plugs, etc... That wasn't a normal head gasket, it was a full fledged operation.
@@dannysautorepair I am looking forward to that. Also putting new struts, front sway bar links, control arms, ball joints inner and outer tie rods, and rear control arms. This baby going to be smoooth. 😂. A good weekend project for sure.
Also a quick tip if you have recently replaced your battery on your Camry you have to do a reset on the ecu so the throttle body can relearn itself and idle correctly
Paid a mechanic shop to repair broken motor mounts for my 2012 Chrysler 200 Lx all mounts was replaced and transmission mount. A friend couldn't help me from knowing my car with ac turned on shake from a thermostat sensor a part they don't want to order and repair from taking care of sick family right now. It require some wiring around the dashboard area of my car. The manufacture dealership months after replacing the catalytic convertor and caused the car to shake and vibrate when my feet on break and at stop location it idle down when the ac on in park the wheel and seats you can feel vibration. The mechanics I took it back to said they have used cars and their children car can't be fix from the same issue. What mechanic shop to explain this issue to that can repair Chrysler 200 idling and vibrating from turning the ac on after the dealership mechanics can't find a diagnostic issue?
I would start by checking the freon in the AC system maby it's low on freon, then clean the throttle body and if you haven't replaced your spark plugs in a while then replace those too.
So when your ac is on the vibration and shaking and noise was much more when just backing out of your driveway vs when ac was off? That's what my 2005 Nissan is doing...everytime I turn on ac makes way more shaking as and noise..I replaced mounts in car 2 years ago...today I replaced harmonic balancer and it's the same...I actually think my av compressor is going bad..which sucks because it's still super cold and its 95* here and humid as hell.
Yes when I would put the car in drive with the brakes on it would vibrate. Also check your freon level make sure it's full and not low, check your throttle body and clean it if necessary, air filter and spark plugs . Hope that helps
@@dannysautorepair yes I will hit throttle body..replaced plugs, coils, clean injectors replaced cat and o2 sensor.and many other parts in just last couple of months..
Mine is is shacking when I turn on the Ac but then it stops about 30 seconds later and I can drive with no problem. Now is I put it on parking again and on drive or reverse the shaking starts again for another 30 seconds and it stops. Is only when the ac comes on. I’m trying to figure out what it is. I drive for a living so I can’t afford my car to brake. Toyota rav 4 2018
Did you check how much freon is in the system, maby it's low on Freon, check also your motor mounts and clean your throttle body, check also your spark plugs if you haven't changed them in a long time and air filter.
Skoda Octavia II 2006, when i turn AC on auto 18 degrees celcius, it starts shaking, sometimes the RPM"s start moving a bit, and vibrating. Whats the solution? Sometimes it even stalls.
Hello sir. Got the same issue with my Picanto but the difference is whenever I turn on the AC the vibration comes. Is it due to worn out support mounts?
Make sure you check everything else like clean your throttle body and make sure your spark plugs and vacuum lines are ok, then check your engine mounts.
Yes make sure to confirm and if they are the problem it's better to go with OEM parts because I tried the aftermarket ones and I ended up doing the job twice. OEM is expensive but trust me it's worth it.
I bought the OEM ones from the Toyota dealer, those are a little expensive but are the best, those aftermarket junk mounts will not work, they didn't for me and I tried the anchor ones and I had to do the job twice so in my opinion I would pay the extra money and buy OEM from Toyota, shop around sometimes they have specials like free shipping. Hope this helps
I bought them from the Toyota dealer and at the time the shipping was free but they have different prices the top dog bone mount I paid around 85.00 the lower front one was 130.00 but shop around because every dealer has different prices.
I have a 99 Toyota Corolla wagon had a similar problem with the engine, sounding more heavy when I turn the AC on, I was thinking, maybe it’s the compressor gone bad so I stopped using it for years So now I’m thinking of getting a new compressor and also may be these parts as well.
Hey i got a 2009 camry. I had already replaced the mounts a few months ago it's too soon to be going bad. But whenever the ac is on and start braking, the engine starts missing and starts shaking. Do you got any idea what could it be?
For some reason my cars idle was a little low and my engine would vibrate , I cleaned out my throttle body and replaced my motor mounts with the OEM ones and it's been great. Aftermarket mounts didn't work for me.
i have a 2005 honda accord. it does the same thing when I put in drive but have my foot on the break. it happens more so when I turn AC on. I hope this is the problem to my car.
Mine started after body shop supposedly put a new radiator condenser in after a minor accident. I doubt it was new because they said it was national shortage on the part with no eta. They told my insurance they put a recycled one in. I had insurance call because they had my car for 4 months and wasn’t updating me on anything they told my insurance they put a new one in on the final estimate yeah right. When I got in the car to drive off I noticed a shaking, vibrating and my car running really loud. When I got home I pop the hood and the engine was really shaking. They have been giving me the run around on getting this taking care of.
@@dannysautorepair I asked both the dealership and the new body shop to check the motor mounts they said ok. I don’t notice as much visible shaking of the engine after dealing with the second body shop. But there is still a vibrating and shaking through my seat and steering wheel and floor of the car When I turn my ac on the ac is loud now before the accident I could barely hear it. Also backseat ac isn’t cold anymore it’s almost warm. And I keep getting a evap large leak check engine light that started at the dealer body shop and was then sent to the dealer for service they say they can’t find the leak with a smoke test so I guess they clear the code and it comes right back after driving for so long.
I made the same mistake wasted time and money on the whole evact system and nothing changed, until someone who really knew about cars told me the problem was the motor mounts wish three out of four were totally destroyed.
What about after market motor mounts every dealership was out of them for my 97 Corolla had to go with aftermarket from local part store,in your opinion wish aftermarket you think will last the most.
To be honest I tried the anchor ones and they were not good, I had to do the job twice , I rather keep looking and try to find the OEM ones. Try eBay sometimes they have the OEM ones
