Thank you for putting this video together. I'm a new bee on this market and was searching for low budget lighting that still works decent to good for filming and photography. This video makes me easy to choose the best light for my budget. I'm buying iFootage 60DW for now :)

Thanks for the review. I'm in the market right now. But, i'm not to the point where I could justify Broncolor or Profoto. but these look interesting.

Most of the power "magic" from an LED light will be done by the reflectors with the polished facetts! With a reflector with a narrow angle, you would even get more output. Also the size and the quality from those reflectors will change the output. So, a fair "power" test for that LED lights (because of the different mounts) would be without any reflector. Or - in case with the LED lights with the bowens mount - with the same reflector.

The Aputure ballast also has built-in CRMX DMX V-mount charging capabilities Weather-proof

Also consider beam angle from the included reflectors

Is there a fresnel that will work with the Angelfish lights?

I miss those HMI light days (not for my back though 😜)

The f-stop reading is kind of pointless when every light has a different reflector though? Unless you want to compare the values of every base kit
