When you drive on ice, best to not wear your seat belt. Also good to have a window open. That lake is fine as the ice is plenty deep enough.

You got lucky to go on a day when the snow was coming down a bit. Those are always the most memorable. Cool little bar.

I have been there a couple of times. I have fished LOW for 45 years. If you really want to catch walleye, come up for opening weekend and fish the Rainy River where it enters the lake. Best wishes and safe travels. Fish on !! New subscriber.
