It isn't rendered in AnvilNext, so they could make it happen. Maybe it is just a CGI. But, I think they should remake it for PS4 and Xbone and PC.

The alpha footage is entirely CGI. The current hardware at the time (360/PS3) couldn't handle it if they had made the entire game like that.

The combat going from AC2/brotherhood/revelations was really fun. Was bit of a learning curve but after getting the hang of it was so beast. Connor is a straight savage

My favorite scene in any game ever is in AC2 when Ezio puts on his assassin outfit. The song in the background rocks it.

I find the release date for my part of the world also quite convenient. My 16th birthday-October 29 My pre-ordered copy of the Join or Die Edition ships-October 30 AC3 Released in New Zealand(when my copy should arrive)-October 31

Yea, i've had the same feeling. They kept saying in other vids "It will bring Desmond's story to an end." Something about that tells me that if this isn't the last AC, then definitely the next one will introduce a new protagonist in the present.

Connor made a specific statement "On this land, I am torn. Part of me wants to fight and repel all outsiders. The other part of me is the outsider. I think if it was going to have a setting in Japan it should be were the Samurai order is run by templars and Ninjas are trying to take down the Samurai while you are after the templars in that order. Something like that, i think it would work very well.

They actually do move in the Boston demo and on the Frontier demo.The reason why you don't see it as significant as you expected it to be is because Connor is moving to fast for you to see branches jumping up and down,also he is using a technique where you don't put your full weight on the object but pull your arms upwards strong enough to get on the next branch.That can be done in real life to giving you the ability to jump/swing from objects so weak that a normal jump/swing would break them.

Luis Zior I agree. I remember watching that video before AC3 came out and I was so upset that gameplay didn't match the concept too well... Something tells me though that 2015's Assassin's Creed will adopt more elements found in that video... The last gen consoles just couldn't handle a lot of what was happening on screen...

I know it's Connor, but they're using Ezio's Master Assassin robes from Brotherhood. To test the tree climbing physics. I'm not stupid, I'm just a super excited AC fan who can't wait to get his hands on this amazing game.

remember the dlc of brotherhood and these coordinates of a place somewhere near ny? in the end of revelations desmond is in america, i believe, and says that he knows what to do. now we are in america. they will probably find a temple or an artefact/apple of eden.

1:53 If Assassin's creed Forsaken (Haytham's journal) is accurate, that's probably Haytham in the black cloak on the horse present there to prevent Connor from dying in the gallows.

They had to be. Conner is on a totally different side of the world so the clothing will vary. He is Native American so the little trinkets and other such things are added to remind people that he is Indian, not Italian. Also the coat with the blue trim is a French military coat, probably salvaged from the French and Indian War before the revolution. I just thought that was cool how they implement location and time in the outfits.

Not exactly, in one of the cover posters, Conner appears slightly older and has a white and red outfit instead of white and blue. Matching the one in this vid! Can't freaking wait regardless

This new character makes Desmond even more of a crazy family lineage story than anyone Ive ever heard of. This makes Desmond middle eastern, italian and native american. No wonder he's a troubled bartender.

@pavly sz It won't matter if he's dead I don't think. Cause the Templars found a way to be able to use anyone and tap into their ancestry. They have a different guy in AC4 Who's ancestor is a pirate. So really they can use whoever they want to aid in their endeavors. Literally an infinite amount of ancestors. Feel free to correct me if I have been misinformed. :)

I never normally get games from GAME or Gamestation, I normally order from Amazon, which I did for Revelations and received that a day early, but I was so excited for AC3 that I didn't want to risk not getting it early and it seems it's turned out good:D

They probably won't until October, maybe a week or so before release. Desmond, while being the 'main' story character, is only half of the element. The ancestor portions of the games are usually the hardest part of the games to make, thus why they talk about it so much.

He actually feels like a great character if you play the game twice and actually try to understand that Connor is a person with a black and white outlook on things like there can only be evil or only good, but his allies AND enemies are people who may do good things but is an evil person and vice versa. Also NA's didn't have much knowledge of the modern world and Connor is very cautious of this new world. more people would understand if they gave Connor more inner monologue through out the game.

The Ubisoft Uplay rewards for the game revealed that you can unlock Ezio's robes from Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, beyond that I don't know, but I'll be sticking with the default gear instead of any past assassin garb...

I hope Ubisoft knows about BackStab for the AppStore, it is set in the revolution, there is rooftop parkour, stealthy way to kill, flintock pistol, and and smooth combat system. definetly not saying that that is better than AC3 (as that looks fucking amazing) but it has the same settings. AC will always be my favorite game series

Yeaah, I'm sure It will, Ubi has stated that Desmond's role in this game is way more important compared to the previous games, It will be longer and more decisive to the 2012 narrative. Plus, thanks to the bleeding effect, the conclusion of Ezio's and Altaïr's memories and his internal acceptance, he is a true assassin now. Can't wait to play Desmond as the badass he must be, but.. I really don't want to know anything about his story-arc until the game ships :) I wanna be surprised :D

I think there's gonna be an Ezio ACB costume via uplay. Look at 4:29. I suppose it makes Denver since we had Altair's costume with Ezio. I hope there is an Altair Costume here too. ;)

yeah..like a video interview on Gamespot, where a developer of the game explains Desmonds ancestry..saying Ezio and Altair arent related by blood..and Desmond is where the bloodline connects..ie. Ezio on his mothers side..Altair on his fathers..but yeah..

It is on Xbox... It's just that most of the game trailers are made form the PS3 version and the reason for that is because Sony (the creators of ps3) are on a business merger with Ubisoft, and basically Sony help make the great game of Assassin's Creed 3.

The finished game will basicly be the same as the real gameplay we have seen yet. That, the Pre Production video is just a "what we want" video, so the Ubisoft workers should see how the game should work ingame.

+gfdgdf .fgdfgfdg Yeah that's true about Assassin's Creed III. Although if you played Assassin's Creed Unity it makes you think that the issues of Assassin's Creed III is not that bad at all because if you compare the glitches and framerate of this game to Assassin's Creed Unity. Assassin's Creed Unity is the worst in the series because the framerate of that game is much worse than this game and don't forget the PS4 version Assassin's Creed Unity creates lagging issues and the bugs and glitches are much worse than what Assassin's Creed III presented. I enjoyed this game a lot more because despite Assassin's Creed III suffering from the glitches and framerate issues, the game is amazing overall because the main highlight of this game is not only Connor but also the vibe and feel of the game, I personally think that Assassin's Creed III has the best and most responsive combat in the series that's far better than Assassin's Creed II's combat along with the fluid parkour and free running. I also love the game's open ended wilderness which was the game's main highlight and the same can be said to its successor Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag with the beautiful uncharted seas. Assassin's Creed III will remain as my favorite in the series but Black Flag is the best out of all the Assassin's Creed games.

People really have to realize that the game isn't "The American Revolution in an AC game", but rather "An AC game taking place during the American Revolution". What that means is that the game is an Assassins Vs Templars story as it happened during the American Revolution. This game will give you a bystander's perspective of the events of the Revolution while it focuses on the Assassins and Templars' response to those events. Plus, Connor's killed patriots before. Look at the screenshots/videos.

Honestly, i love the first assassin costume of connor, not the one in the actual game, but for the character he is it kind of makes up to him. I have always preferred the silent type though.

I think ACR wasn't a good follow up to ACB (which is my favorite AC game so far). ACR just felt like there weren't enough new gameplay features/mechanics and overall just felt a little rushed. AC3 shows so much potential to be the best AC yet and it looks like they have rebuilt so much that there shouldn't be any worry about it being like ACR. AC3 is far beyond what I could have hoped for in an AC game.

Love how this game took a little more than 2 1/2 years to make and its going to be awesome, diablo 3 took 10 years to make and had a lot less content than this, I know this will have more content
