This video is Part 2 in a series.
The video will show you how to remove and replace both the key Tumbler and the electrical portion of an ignition switch for a 1968, 1969, and 1970 Volkswagen Beetle, Karmann Ghia , and Type 3.
I shot a 20 minute plus long video on how to remove and replace the key portion of the ignition Switch on a 69-70 Beetle. However, for some reason I am unable to upload the full video to RU-vid. This is the companion video to compliment that video. Keep in mind that although this video shows you how to change the switch, it doesn’t go into every detail like the longer video does. So, if you’re watching this and wondering what I’m talking about, remember that I’m referring to the longer repair video that I shot previously . I know, it’s confusing. Just roll with me .
