These Japanese stories all seem to start with a woman being oppressed. A doormat. Who suddenly turns into a tigress with swishing tail after husband and MIL go too far Can we have some new stories, よろしければ , にっぽんさん = if you please, Nippon San?
We don't get divorced or married the same way, either. And MIL wouldn't be tolerated the way she is in these stories. Her laundry would have been left in a wad at the foot of the stairs along with her son's laundry. Just a couple more differences...there are way more.

The authors of these stories are just getting lazier and lazier. They know they have a bit of a `captive` audience and milk this for all it`s worth. The English is so sloppy - do they even bother to proofread? Oh well - fun whilst it was fun!
Just one thing. I’m assuming that “drop of hell” is a super spice meant to be used in cooking in tiny amounts (I’m guessing it contains a large amount of capsaicin [a super pepper like spice/herb]) to add zip to a dish. I wish they’d made this clear either for those who don’t know capsaicin or if it’s a different spice. However while not harmless, capsaicin isn’t likely to cause severe damage unless you’re allergic or if used in too high an amount. A lot of times people assume if it’s an herb it’s “natural” and thereby totally safe. For one moment when Catherine smelled the drink I was scared silly that she smelled almonds. I think it’s the poison cyanide that smells like bitter almonds and that, of course, is fatal. But generally speaking, capsaicin in a larger dose will only have a local reaction like theirs. But Bob swallowed the drink. He could experience damage to the GI tract, stomach, throat or esophagus. Although our stomach juices are probably stronger than that, a severe burn to the mouth, throat and esophagus on the way going down is a real possibility. And MIL is older. So while the story focused on other issues, I feel the writers were wrong to ignore this issue and possibly lead people to think this was ultimately a harmless prank. It wasn’t.

If anyone should be losing weight it should be the MIL and husband their both older then her so they are gaining more weight then she is bet their both fat
I feel like these stories are an English assignment for those trying to learn it. They always have "western" names and come from western places, but at least in this country, you just don't have divorce papers that you bring to city hall and you get a divorce. That is only one of the issues. The mother in law dynamic is rather unusual for the west. Not that you can't have a horrible MIL, it just wouldn't be tolerated to this extent. My children use chopsticks... at a restaurant, not at home.
They are always based on asian stories, extreme control by MIL who lives in the house, calling healthy people fat, wanting to marry a CEO. Instant divorces.
The family is Asian and the wife is acting super-subserviently in old Japanese style toward the husband and MIL. The daughter, at least, has a little bit of backbone.
Moral of the story ladies, don’t be fat. If a man can’t be broke or sick, before his wife leaves, than women should keep their figure tight and a clean household. 😅🤷♂️ #equality
You know what you can go vegan there's a lot out there in the freezer section if your grocery stores that is vegan that is plant-based it's good and a lot of it is awesomely tasting and is good for you so I'm sorry screw it just go for a girl you can have good food and still go thin
