The amount of creativity needed to make these sound effects doesn't change, whether it's via computer or like this doesn't matter too much. PC just makes it a bit easier to twist things you recorded and or get the sound you want to

@@botanic3428 Thanks for opinion. If I get you right I'd don't agree. Yes today I make mostly digital sound design, of course it's much easier and and effort-saveable. But there is a huge difference between analogic and digital recordings. Firstly the analogic one has the air breath of the whole rec stage, it's almost impossible to simulate by digital methods. And the most important differince in my opinion is... It's the same thing I just wrote above to @NenissaK. Trying to explain I'd compare photo shot with digital and analogic camera. With the similar technical quality settings of both. On digital one you have the terabyte SSD and easily can shot thousand pics like a machinegun. To choose the best pics then comfortably sitting at home. But having only a few 35 mm cassettes with film tape you need always keep you hunter's eye sharpen, no space to mistake! And the value of every frame becomes much higher, you can't allow youself miss any small detail. This practice training improves you artistic sense of view wayway more I think. You can see that difference if compare modern and oldschool film movies. With all that technical lacking -- don't you notice how way accurate every frame stage is set in any small detail? Just because the filming tape and workset is shortly limited. That's the thing we loose with progress and technological simplification. IMHO. The same with audio: to make a hapidrum from gas tank by hand is a different thing that to copy-paste it from Kontakt library in a few clicks like many breakcore bands do. No, it still keep the warm of human hand.

As a french metalhead, may I suggest also bands like: Eths, Lofofora, Mass Hysteria, Svinkels, Seul, Pipedreams, Watcha, Pleymo, GHB, DK Dance, Stupeflip, Ultra Vomit, Les Ramoneurs de Menhir, Bananes Métalliques? Some are punk bands, some are neo metal/hip hop inspired, some are indus, cyber metal, but trust me, Eths and DK Dance are true gold. Female voices. And Lofofora is cult in France. Enjoy ! Yes we have a huge metal scene in France, and I am proud of it. It allows to forget shitty french music like Maitre Gims or Jul. Sidenote: France has also very good, skilled, talented people in the rap/hip-hop scene. Few examples: VII, Furax, Scylla, Swift Guad, Reda l'Aborigene, Juks, Lucio Bukowski, KouzR2R, Davodka, Vald, Al K-pote, Hugo TSR, CRS, Orelsan, Les Casseurs Flowters, the girls: Keny Arkana, Casey, La Gale (Switzerland), Lala&ce...

Now, if only the damn C.C. subtitles would stay OFF when I turn them OFF...

I don't know, I think the recorder is having too much interference in his work. He is using more traditional riffs and grooves, some of the baroque and erudite elements are missing, also the strange experimentalism in his electronics works, I still thinking this album will change a lot his style to something less strange to catch a bigger public
