Actually, if you cut out some egg in a hen, they exactly the same. Some will be yellow and those that about to be lay will sport that leathery feel with little to no white egg yolk. The hard shell on a chicken egg only created when it move from the ovaries to the anus gathering mineral on it way out to create that hard shell.

Weird that the eggs have no albumen, they may have been a tad over cooked too, I wonder what pickled eggs would taste like? Would any of the fish eat them? Or could the meat be fed to the fish like a Tilapia substitute? Would any of the fish at Predatory Fins eat the eggs or flesh? I would love to see if they did, might save a bit of cash on food bills, especially if they do, you have a couple of Iguana hunters in Florida, Iguana Solutions and Iguana Man, would love to see a collaboration with you and them.

In regards to the eggs what I saw in Northern Colombia is that they boil the eggs with salt, once cooled off they string tie them as in long braid and dry them on the sun, I don't know for how days. Finally They to peel off that leathery shell and eat it. They taste good, my only concern was how I could it without raising my Colesterol levels.
