VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
One of the questions I get asked the most is about iGyro setups. In this second video, I show you how setup the iGyro manually (without the "Setup Assistant" and "Test Fly Assistant" shown in my first video) and then how to fine tune and tweak the final settings, once you have performed your first flights, or feel the need to modify any of the settings.

Hi Martin, when setting the gain slider or knob to 0, is it 0-100, or -100-0-100? Also after the setup flight does the slider or knob automatically deactivate? Thanks

Great video, and thank you for doing this. Huge resource for the community. Quick question on the gain settings. Looks like i need a different value for each elevator (L/R) in order to get the same deflection on each when i lift the tail up or down. Is that possible? Thanks

Thanks! The travel can indeed be different for each elevator half, it is normally always the case. Gyro setting should be the same for both sides though, as travel is already proportional to the limits previously set in the matching/end points.

Hey Martin My futaba is a 10c it does not support the subs feature My question is does the Mercury support a standard receiver

Hi Carlton, sorry, but sbus means something different to what you I think you believe it does... your radio transmits 2,4ghz and uses Futaba receivers. Within your modulation (Fasst, fhss, etc), there are receivers that have analogue outputs, other receivers also have digital outputs (sbus), they all work with your radio, it just depends which receiver you choose as to if it has a digital sbus output or not, but there is no such thing as a Sbus transmitter... The Mercury uses digital receiver outputs (sbus). If you want to use an existing receiver that you have that doesnt have sbus, you would need a different Pb, one with analogue inputs.

Hi martin, many compliments for everything you do! I have a question, is it possible to set flight conditions, for example dual rate or exponential on surfaces controlled by mercury? my fear is to bring system into conflict! thanks if you answer my question.

Hi Paolo, yes, no problem. Think of the settings in the Mercury as the "maximums", you can then use dual rates, flight modes, exponentials, as much as you want as they will always be less

Martin thank you for all your videos !! Could you help me I can’t get any signal on my mercury srs using same r7008sb manual says output 8 must be set to subs ? Not sure I know what they means please help !!😁 and would you explain how to run two of them on the unit 🙏

Hi James, check that you have set the Mercury Rx settings to Futaba. If it still doesn't work, double check the receiver manual that the "Mode" is set in such a way that it is actually outputting SBUS signal to the port you are using

Martin Pickering I figured it out man I was using the bottom sbus port not channel 8 sbus that was my problem thanks for the reply

Hi Carlton, Sbus is in the receiver, has nothing to do with the radio. Its just the language the receiver speaks to the servos
