I moved away from the US in 2008 to a country that has religion more deeply rooted into its society than the US does. I have to say that not even in this deeply religious Catholic country do you see the nuts that the US has in congress. It's insane.

The most annoying thing about these people in congress is that they don't understand their job. Them thinking that their job is to uphold the constitution?! Isn't their job to actually change the constitution because the constitution is meant to exist as a living document? what happened to the three branches? They should all be forced to get a 100% on a citizenship test before holding office.

74 here, and I'm tired of being told boomers are the problem, The Village in Florida gave us all a bad name. I'm horrified at what is happening in our government. Watching the government officials in Arizona groveling on the floor speaking in tongues, outside of thinking how grotesque this is, this needs to stop. Get out and vote in droves, flocks, herds as many people as possible. No sitting on the fence, no third party votes. Vote 🌀🌊🔵 BLUE down the ballot if you want any sanity again.

Just found this channel and I absolutely love these two hosts. They are witty, sharp and very analytical with the facts. It's enjoyable to be able to hear smart people think out loud and quite refreshing especially after reading about stupid Trump news.

I doubt they qualify either but we need to find a way to fake it for them. That way they’ll leave happy and smug about their faithfulness. The rest of us won’t have to live with a bunch of freaks forcing their religious beliefs down our throats. They can’t even agree on the same beliefs of Christianity anyway. If the doctrine is slightly different they make you get reBaptized by immersion. I’m old and I’m still pissed off about it. It could be worse though…such as circumcision. Yikes!

I am a follower of Jesus. None of these people claiming to believe in Him know anything about what He actually taught or demonstrated to a spiritually demoralized population. The American version mirrors the Pharasee's hypocrisy, to which Jesus scathingly responded. He never sought to coerce anyone or grasped power. He simply loved broken people and invited them in to have a seat at His table; to take their rest from the demands of religious performance, and just walk with Him. He is meek, lowly, gentle, and is interested in loving relationship. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. He does all the heavy lifting. We just trust in His goodness.
