Things I’ve always said about II’s playing: His fills are crispier than a perfectly cooked potato chip His playing is tastefully busy. He does a lot but every hit and every accent is exactly where it needs to be and the song wouldn’t be the same without it. It’s downright unfair how good this man is.

The term you are looking for to describe II is he is a pocket drummer, and prob one of the best damn ones I've ever seen.

I agree 100% on hearing a jazz influence in his style. The way hes just so chill and in control on top of the slight drag I hear sometimes. Feels very jazzy

II is one of those drummers that is so technically skilled, even people who don't know anything about drums can see just how truly skilled he is.

He reminds me of my drum teacher. Jazz, gospel, rock. I wish he was still here so I could show ii to him and get his reaction and discuss it.

He is awesome to watch. Fascinates me & yes hypnotising. As usual you made me smile with your beanie mask 😊

His movements are just so fluid. It's mesmerizing! You'll definitely enjoy the remaining offerings :)

You were rocking out and had your eyes closed during some of his most acrobatic moments! But yeah II is a beast and I didn’t really notice what drummers did before Sleep Token but now I am VERY impressed by our short king 🥰

He's so precise and makes it look so effortless. There are many other drummers who are just as good but hypnosis is such a good one of his offerings to start with because its so easy to just get entranced watching him.

So damn tasty. His pockets are bigger than he is. He's very lyrical and plays with melodies across the set, so much that you could sing his parts and I dig that. My and my drum friends send each other clips and squeal like teenage girls over him like he's a kpop idol. Without giving too much away, even when he plays heavier disciplines he's still very contained. He can go much harder but when he does his finesse and style are always prevalent. He really can do it all and it feels like it always has a syncopated jazz comp foundation. His swipes are proper cymbal play, especially with how papery thin he seems to like his cymbals - glancing blows have a less detrimental affect to the metal. You'll see him spin them quite a lot, which puts less stress on one part of the cymbal. I suspect he's an equipment nerd and I'm here for that.

Gosh I LOVE II so much. He’s so powerful to be able to not show how much effort he’s expending and just look so effortless doing it. Best drummer right now, period and maybe ever but I’m a bit biased. 🖤 Loved this reaction, of course and can’t wait for more Sleep Token content. Another day, another several likes today lol. 😆

II is the only one I wish wasn’t remaining anonymous because I know his background and past video drum play throughs have been removed because of it. Gutted. He really is talented! Loved the impersonation! 😊

his skills are 🔥. So damn crispy, tight, snare snapping, technically amazing. The snare just slaps you in the face. And he makes it look so effortless. Yeah I love his technique on the symbol, lol, just smacking the shit out of it. There is one where he hits the symbol and spins it. Can't remember if it was this one or another one. He is definitely trained in multiple styles.

What more can you add to II's playing at this point once you've heard the discography.. the man is just as talented as they come. Watching him in action just makes it seem all the easier for him. Seen him in a different band and he was literally the whole highlight of their songs lol

I love when he hits the cymbals and then hushes them real quick with his hands. He's just so fluid when he plays that it hardly looks like he is breaking a sweat 😅. Idk much about drumming but I do really enjoy his style and love watching him play. ❤ I’m not sure how much truth there is to it but, I’ve read that he drummed for a death metal band in the past. I’ve chose not to look into it though. 😊
