We hope the GNU will scrap the issue of 18 to 35 when it comes to jobs. We are all citisens in this country and voters, it is not only 18 to 35 who votes but why when it comes to jobs only 18 to 35 are important. When you are 36 and above and get retreched, that retrechment is a death sentence to u cause won't get employed again. This should b scrapped cause it is also unconstitutional.
Section 9(3) of the constitution is clear, it is against discrimination based on age and other forms of discrimination. It is unfortunate that not single union has ever challenged this even those that in alliance with the ANC have sold us.
