In a heartbreaking turn of events, the untimely demise of Saurabh Kumar Laddha, a 25-year-old consultant at McKinsey, has shaken us to the core. Saurabh, an alumnus of IIT Madras and IIM Calcutta, succumbed to the overwhelming pressures of his professional life, underscoring the critical need for prioritizing mental well-being amidst demanding work environments.
As we ponder upon this devastating loss, it's imperative to shed light on the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and nurturing mental health. The relentless pursuit of success should never come at the expense of one's physical and emotional well-being. Saurabh's tragic story serves as a poignant reminder of the toll that excessive work pressure can exact on individuals, regardless of their accomplishments.
Now, more than ever, we must foster open dialogues about mental health in workplaces and society at large. Employers must prioritize creating supportive environments that encourage employees to seek help and practice self-care. Additionally, individuals should feel empowered to set boundaries, seek assistance when needed, and prioritize their holistic well-being above all else.
Join us in honoring Saurabh's memory by advocating for systemic changes that promote a healthier approach to work and life. Let's pledge to prioritize mental health, support those in need, and work towards building a more compassionate and understanding society.

Are you braindead? What are u even trying to prove? Many people willingly want to join consulting and IB just because of package, and he even says in those videos that how you have to work for 16-18 hours a day, that doesn't count as "glorifying", it's simply giving people a roadmap

Worst part about the whole incident I find is mentioning the deceased's name and tagging him in LinkedIn posts. People have become so insensitive. And also making content about it.

Maybe the reason for his death is different they are just framing a toxic culture,if really it does matter to him he can change the company easily but why he choose death

The countries with so much less population don't have any such culture and no problem, but here we are, People cannot understand in a country so much overpopulated like India what is so much pressure we have the adequate workforce they just need the proper training and hand holding.

Work pressure cannot be the only reason for anyone to take their own life. That guy prepared for iit,got into it,prepared for cat, got into iim - those places train you to bear stress. And in general life is stressful. Quitting job just because of toxic environment is not a very good advice. Switching is the answer. And no matter where you go corporate world is a cutthroat jungle, only the fittest survive. If one lacks self awareness maturity or self esteem corporate isnt the place for them. One should enter corporate without the preconceived notions of "glamorous" life from social media and influencers instead a major mindshift is required which is they arent your friends nor enemies, they dont owe you anything you provide value, learn politics, learn and master the game and youll survive thrive even. If not then well...

Hey Kushal, I found your video relevant to my situation as well. I am also a CA by qualification. I have just quit from a senior level seat at Nykaa also, due to only and only toxic work culture, found my life has become miserable and stressful due to toxicity. Change in a short period, even without not new job in hand, I still feel true to myself light to my heart. I am also surprised, there is no regulator in India, who can help employees and other stakeholders In such cases, I am not sure, but I do not mind to tell you that I’m not just interested, but it’s also need of time to make some vlogs on the same to spread awareness and positivity to the future victims. Let me know in case you are also interested to place such interaction on your board.

The moment you resign because of this toxic culture they will ask why are you resigning without offer if applying jobs but they themselves ( on top of that serve 90 notice)

South indians should learn hindi because hindi is understood by every north indian but if youll say, north indians should learn south indian languages, then its not possible. Because every south indian state has different language. How can a person learn all the languages
