Look for all grow tent equipment. I use Secret Jardin Monkey Fan. It has oscillation and very durable magnetic way of working. Do t know how to explain it. Also secret jardin grow lights.
I know they have got expensive now. I got from so wine off Instagram. It's not the most colourful one but fingers crossed for it to be nice when it grows a new stem and leaves
@@YourBabylonPlants looks like it's going to be a beaut. I can't get my head around the plants that used to be reasonably priced but now need a second mortgage! It makes sense for a new variant that's had a lot of R&D carried out but the older varieties seem to have been taken over by a particularly nasty cartel!
I'm also bummed ikea doesn't make those lights anymore. They also stopped the bulbs. I ordered them when they were still available, waited weeks and weeks hoping they'd still send them. But customer service never replied and I missed the last ones. I now have two of those arcadia jungle dawn's you mentioned. I'm very happy with those but I have to say that these are price-wise way more expensive than those from ikea. Although I know that they are a lot cheaper in the UK then the EU. But since (for some reason) I'm really scared to burn my house down, I don't want to buy something cheap that might end up being a fire hazard. But I do have a lot of trust in my arcadia's haha
Totally love this idea and all your advice! Out of all the videos I've watched so far on plant cabinets, yours were informative, brief, and captivating! When I do start this project, what does your watering schedule look like? I guess not as frequent because of the humidity?
Hello, Thks u for the VD want to get in to some expensive plants 🪴 I don’t want a IKEA cabinet BUT!! I think that’s what I’m going to have to get. I live in New York, on the top floor and those plant needs high humidity at least 70 making room for the IKEA cabinet have to put shelves on the wall for my other not so high immunity plans so I’ll be keeping in touch with you because you have all the plants that I want to get ha ha👒🧤💚
Hey Roberto. The last set I got from Germany before brexit. Now it's not possible to get them without a phytosanitary certificate. Sad times. But I have other anthuriums where they have a fruited inflorescence so I will make more seeds in a few months
@@YourBabylonPlants Oh that's a shame ' i have only just started so have only managed to grow a few baby clarinervium so far, my regale is in bloom now so have just attempted pollination with some frozen pollen i kept from last November
Not into these types of plants but great in depth view of your approach. When your current light breaks you will replace it with 2 of the new 15w Jungle Led per layer? Thats quite a lot. I think not even my citrus needs that. I will buy a small Milsbo next week and upgrade it to a greenhouse.
@@YourBabylonPlants Thats great i ordered also one for the small version of the milsbo cabin. My plants will be totally different and the one getting close to yours is maybe the vanilla orchid. Hope to see more of the cabin videos =D
Good question. Unfortunately not. There dons t seem to be a humidifier on the market that when it has power is auto on and going, they all seem to need you to press a button to enable them
Where do you buy this swirski ulti-mite here in the UK? Just recently bought a plant full of thrips and I have sprayed it with provanto. I’ve got combo sticks on the way too.💪🏼
If you need a greenhouse cabinet with higher humidity get a metal or plastic pegboard. Not available from Ikea but from your common or garden hardware store. Natural solution for bugs/pests: get some carnivorous plants. My sundew loves gnats. They'll be gone in no time.
Hi there! Thanks for the video :) I was wondering if you have any tips on caring for the Mamei? I just got one and she’s not acclimating to my home very happily.
I’m also worried avout getting mold on my board, i’ve heard people weather protecting it of some sort but not sure with which product to do that. Any ideas?
you can get clear seal sprays, like acrylic sprays. just make sure it’s for general use and not for walls. what level is your humidity? I’ve only heard of people having issues when they have constant humidity and wetness above 80
Hi, hope you can help 🫣 I’ve got two greenhouse cabinets and I really struggle with mould on my pegboards but I don’t understand how to keep my humidity lower? Currently it sits between 80 and 90 which is insane and clearly the issue. I don’t have a humidifier in there, I have 2 fans in each constantly running too and I have weather proofed the door, any ideas? Love the video! 💜
I have not! I have ended up removing the Ikea peg boards and replaced them with some metal grids from Amazon, my humidity is still extremely high though so I have to air out my cabinets once a day for a while 🤷🏻♀️
