Ikea Hemnes Daybed, One year Review 

When fully extended it because Queen size (180x200 cm). My friend bought 2 pcs of mattress size 80x200 cm.

I think it is only a double when opened.

My friend said, there's no squeaky sounds. So far so good, no problem.

No, single mattress is 90x200 in Europe or 90x190 in UK, this bed requires 80x200

Hmm, ikea never mention about spring mattress, so i am not sure about this. They always suggest foam mattress.

I've been using such bed with a double, thick and heavy spring mattress for a couple of months and so far so good:) But this particular bed is not the newest and as far as I know never versions might be of a bit lower quality, so...

@@momiks hey may I know what's yours mattress's thickness? I'm thinking of getting a thick spring mattress but I'm not sure if the bed gonna hold that much weight. thankyou!

@winakaiuman3435 Hi, can't check it now, but I remember the name of the mattress. It's ikea hovaq or sth like that. I'd say it has about 20 cm.

I have an ikea Vannareid mattress, which is a pocket sprung mattress for their daybeds. Sold in the UK, at least.

Thickness around 13 cm
