Every once in awhile I get these challenges to put stuff together. This is my IKEA Hemnes queen size bed assembly. Did you know if you are missing a tool for Ikea furniture, they will send you a new one for free! This bed will definitely add a sense of elegance to any room.
Hopefully my journey can help you Weekenders get through their adventure with these step by step as per the actual picture instructions.
This is another series of videos I have on how to assemble Ikea furniture at home.

Awesome video! Just in time too because I originally put this bed together a while ago. I just had my floors redone and had to take it down. Now I just couldn't remember how to put it back together. 🤦🏾‍♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣 Your video was a God send!! Thanks for sharing!! 😉😊

Unfortunately the bed is currently in use, but if you need to disassemble it you can watch the video write the steps, then perform them backwards. Hopefully this helps. What is the size of the wrench for the nuts that you used your fingers to tighten?

Hi there, Thanks for watching my video and the feed back. I don't recall the size of the wrench as it a custom wrench that comes from IKEA for the bed. If you contact or go into IKEA they will give you one for free of charge, in fact they will give you any part for free that you may be missing. The part number for the wrench you need is 100089. An adjustable wrench maybe too slightly big for the space. Hopefully that helps. Thanks again for watching my video and the subport for helping me grow my channel.

Hi there, Thanks for watching my video and the feedback. I would not recommend that you put the screws into the frame but follow the proper way of putting the bed together. If you do not have all the right parts go to IKEA and ask them to help you determine what you need. All screws and tools Will be replaced for free. You should try and determine what style of bed you have and what you are missing beforehand. Hopefully that helps. Thank you for the subport to help me grow my channel👍🏾😀

Hi there, Thanks for watching my video and the kind feedback. No you need both. The beam is for foot board to head board stability and the, wooden slats are to side to side support the foam mattress. Hopefully that helps 🙂👍🏾

I can’t get the little tiny screws to catch :( HELP!!

Hi there, Thank you so much for watching my video. I'm assuming you are talking about the screws to attach the metal stabilizers. To help put the screw in from the top through the hole on the side rail then put the hole in the stabilizer bar underneath this and screw it in all the way. Hopefully that is what you were referring to. Let me know.

@@TowneBlvdTiy it is what i’m referring to, i’ve tried everything but i can not get the threads on that tiny screw to catch with the diagonal bars :( it’s very frustrating.. i slept on it last night without them but idk how good of an idea that is

@@juliarainey182 you might want to check the metal stabilizers bars themselves for a small screw in the middle. If there is, loosen it which makes the bar adjustable to get longer. Then tighten it back. I might say these bars are truly not needed but it's what the manufacturer recommends to keep the sides from moving under pressure. The bar down the middle is what is really important.. hopefully that helps.

Lol, hi there thanks for watching my video so attentively and the feedback. Actually since I got the bed second hand the seller did not provide it. However, as I mentioned in my write up, IKEA will replace missing parts for free but unfortunately when they sent the parts they did include the screws. So my woos continue, lol. 👍🏾

@@TowneBlvdTiy I didn’t even try to take it down yet. When I uplifted the mattress and saw this weird frame that resembled a spider web 🕸. I panicked and started crying because it disrupted my organizational plans for the day. I don’t know what to do. 😔

@@mardigras33 Lol, 😁. It's easy if it was done right. Just have to release one end of the slats, then the rest pulls right up. To move it out of the room, just turn it on it's side that way you could manuover it through the door and lift it to the other room. Hopefully that helps.
