I am a 6 foot 2 350 pound guy. I spent almost 3 hours in IKEA going between models. Sitting 10-15 mins on different models. This had the best feel to me. Both in the cloth and in the leather. The back and armrests are higher (comfortable for a taller person) and it felt very sturdy. I was going to get the loveseat with the cheese but after some measurements I am going to get the sofa with the chaise.
Glad I saw this. I'm a 6'3 320# guy, I was curious how it was for tall people. I'm still gonna go visit ikea and sit on stuff but its likely I'll get the loveseat version of this. The full couch is too big for my apartment.
You can always swap the cushions. We have a living room set that has all removable and flippable cushions. Not only do I flip them, I rotate their positions. Our middle seat and right side of our loveseat never gets sat on. So just regularly swapping sides helps.
Thanks for the video. Someone may have mentioned this to you already, but I think you might be able to purchase just the legs if you want to replace the ones you have with wooden ones.
Thanks SO MUCH for both of your videos on this couch! I just bought it today and will get it delivered in a week. I also have a smaller space and was feeling a bit scared that it was too big or wouldn't fit through the door (my door is a big narrower than yours but if we remove the boxes I think it should be good). It was way more expensive for me because of the price update BUT still I am so hopeful that it will last because of how sturdy it looks. And I also love the size and how people can sleep on it even if it's not a sofa bed (which tend to me less comfortable). Unlike you, I got the wooden legs but regret it LOL I have chosen the blue velvet fabric and I think the metal legs go better with it and my space PLUS I read online that some people say that the wooden legs are a bit wobbly. Sorry for such a long comment but I feel like as a fellow girl buying a couch for the first time and having lots of concerns/second thoughts, this is the place where I can let it all out haha. Thanks again for your videos! So happy I came across your channel!
Omg I’m so hype for you!! Ahh basically going into my 4th year with this couch and I still love it so much! It’s held up so well, still so comfy, no sagging! That’s good to know about the legs; maybe you can change them if they do start to get wobbly. I still believe this is truly THE best couch and it’s also relatively easy to move around! Hope you have a great experience with it too!
Love this couch but if you have children around I def don’t recommend it. It stains so easily! And you can’t remove the covers to wash them. You can unzip but behind the covers is a plastic that prevents the covers from being removed by the cushions.
They call it the LANDSKRONA in the UK. I am considering getting the one with the chaise longue which is £799.20, so I came on here to see watch some reviews. Thank you for sharing.
Anyone in the PNW want to buy this used?(loveseat version) I got something that fits better for my new place and Morabo is great nut not needed anymore.
Thanks for this review. I'm very curious, did you find the cushions get softer with time? I just bought this couch with the Chaise and it's VERY firm, The back cushions barely squish at all. I don't want ti to return it as it's sooo annoying to do that, but i'd very much like to know if the cushions get softer with time? Thanks again.
With time it softens a little bit but I’d say the back cushions are still pretty firm. For the seat, I can for sure feel the side I sit on most being softer than the other side but it’s not a MAJOR difference. Personally I love how it has kept its shape through the years but if you’re looking for lots of softening that might be a different style.
