Thank you for taking the time to share. One tip I may add is to use clamps to align the units so that when you put the connecting bolts together, everything remains aligned and does not move

Your going to me my savour! I put together the PAX wardrobe with all the inserts and pull out drawers. The Sliding door is my last step, I got as far as putting on the top and bottom rails, I had a quick look at the remaining steps, oh my, so I call it quits for the night, your part 2/3 video will surely help me with the rest of the way. So this weekend I will be attempting the rest of the sliding door install. Like others, thanks a million!

Really good series of videos When I opened up that sliding door box I almost immediately wanted to package it back up and take it back to IKEA but I got through it with a little RU-vid help.

I've had this wardrobe 4 years no doors 🥲lol Mt nan has passed who bought it and I'm determined to fit it properly.after first buying it I was told it was faulty by Ikea but now I have all the bits.cant wait to have a go lol x

I'm having to cut an existing wardrobe from 4 doors x45cm to 3 doors. Do you think I would be able to trim the length of these rails and fit 3 doors in there? Tools, cutting skills and re-drilling holes are not an issue. I might need to purchase extra rollers for the third door as the set is for 2 doors only (I guess). Great and detailed video BTW, you should get paid by IKEA to do videos for them. The instructions are not always clear.

HELP please! The videos are SO helpful. Thank you! Can you suggest what we should do? We built the pax wardrobes and put in the drawers, rails etc. When we came to attach the 2 wardrobes together, they are not sitting evenly. Should we take out the interiors then make sure they are at the same height? Should we then install the doors before replacing the interior drawers etc? Sorry for such a long question - you might be able to save us a lot of headaches and money!!

I have these doors and want to replace the panels for the new Auli mirror panels. Are the new panels compatible with the old door frame?

To do this can you use plain pax wardrobe frame and then afterwards add the glass sliding dots?

The glass is very heavy and we are not able to slide easily in the door panel. I would really appreciate if you can share some documentation or guide us with it.

My problem is we have just put 4 50cm wide wardrobes up, and for to my floor being unlevel, and the rear wall also being out of wack, 2 of the wardrobes are a few mm higher than the other 2. Do they have to be exactly the same height for the top rail? My only option if so is to plane down the two higher wardrobes as I have no more adjustment left…

Dump the instructions and WATCH THIS MAN VIDEOS! Ikea should give this man £1000000 for being clearer than their lame picture instructions…

On my pax there is a bracket on the inside of the right and left side of the second sliding door, as per instructions once the doors are are attached you need to loosen the bracket insert a little screw with an allen key which releases a latch that goes upwards on the right hand side and down on the left hand side. The right side won't release and is preventing the door from sliding shut. Have you come across this before?

Great video, made assembly and install of these doors easy. But, Is it possible to reverse the inner and outer doors? I would like to have the outer door on the right and the inner door on the left.

Does it have to be mounted to the wall? I just made one and when the doors slide, it makes some noise as the paxs shift a bit

I think IKEA may have updated the design - the end of my top rail looks a bit different; do you have to pre drill holes on each side for the top rail? There are no evident holes present at the front of the wardrobe frame.

Could you put on the sliding doors before you join the shelves and do it later?

Is it there are different types of rail for the sliding door? Another of your installation video was using a different rail

Is there a way to reduce the height of the doors, and make them only 3 panels high instead of 4 high. I want to put sliding doors under eaves / sloping ceiling approx 1m50 high (height can be adjusted to accommodate 3 panels but not 4). Thanks

Hi. Is it possible to cut that rails slightly and to mount the doors on the smaller wardrobe body. The smallest such doors, which is possible to buy is 150cm and the wardrobe body I have is 136cm. What you think?
