Ikea pax wardrobe sliding doors assembly in this part 3 I will show you how to put correctly sliding doors on ikea pax wardrobe. Two different ways how to put up Ikea sliding doors. few examples of common mistakes which may happen during Ikea sliding doors assembly. Ikea sliding door installation can be done different ways this is what I found easy it may not match with instructions manual. The manuals just shouldn't be read. We were trying to assemble a 5x5 shelving unit and it told us to do it laying on its side. 5 hours in - No progress made on the fourth layer. Followed my brother's advice to do it standing and got it all done in 10 minutes.

Hi Just a quick note to say thanks lots for your videos. My huge Pax sliding doors suddenly started jamming after about 10 years of use, and I couldn't get them to open. These videos were extremely helpful at getting the damn things off, and back on. In case anyone has similar issues.. The jam appears to have been the screws holding the door panels in place coming loose, and snagging. Tightened them all up again, and reassembled using these videos, and hopefully the wardrobe lives to see another day!

Many thanks for this video. I had a different wardrobe from IKEA but the runners are the same as this one. When I moved house 2 years ago, the removal guy rebuilt the wardrobe and didn't have a clue what he was doing. Massive gap on the outer door. I got round to painting the wardrobe yesterday, so took the doors off and found the issue, thanks to your video!

Thanks for your video! My sliding started to derail all the time and I didn’t have any clue until I watched this video and learned about the plastic lock on top. I unlocked, putted the door back to the rail and locked again. Flawless

I watched these videos the night before mounting the doors. It all went to plan till I hit a snag, went back to video #3 and saw the error I made (lower runner had done behind the hinge), corrected it and I now have 2 lovely sliding doors. Thank you again.

Alright, fixed my doors, after 2 hrs of tedious work. Was really cursing out the designers of the mounting mechanism. Thanks to you I was able to complete it. One tip for the 06:44 issue with the bottom rail going too far: fix a 5 cm tall, long strip of cardboard etc. and stuff it under, right behind the bottom rail. This will make it much easier to guide the door in the correct groove (I was doing it solo so had no other option)

You right this model is not so easy if you new to this. There is new recent model I thing they make it easier than this one on the top and bottom and panels for the doors easier to put together.

Very useful video! Thanks man. I can add to your advice. When hanging the doors. Take the bottom hinges off (or don’t put them on). Hang the door climb inside the wardrobe close the doors and screw the hinges in from the inside. Only can do this if you’re small!

Awesome videos thank for that. The issue that I have is the pax frame is build in with minimal gaps from sides and the top so atm I am having issues installing the second (inner) door as I cannot slide it in from the sides and has to be put up directly. Any ideas?

Thanks for this one, assembled and joined wardrobe frames now it's time for sliding door fitting and soft close mechanism installation...watched your video on that also, good stuff... Want try and incorporate soft close mechanism so as not have to do unessessary work..any tips?

Got it, at the point in the main sliding door assembly guide there is a figure holding a komplement booklet ie, the soft close door mechanism install, begin doing that and amalgamate it into the total install to avoid unnecessary mucking about installing soft close later. Reference both guides as you go along and its easy as👌🏼

Excellent video. I was thinking about getting the pax wardobes 236cm with sliding doors. My ceiling height is 237.5cm.. They are telling me in Ikea I need at least 242cm.. will I have issues if I build it upright, or will it not fit? Thanks
