Steve I think you should set up a 'requests' email address, that way people could request or challenge you to ridiculous lifts and you could post them on here : ) Mike you could join in too! fantastic lift
yes it is a big difference and much more difficult than the same with 2x32kg, because there are 2 separate bells in each hand, therefore thicker grip and harder to balance and control.
Not my wrists. Worth is up to the individual taking the risk. This was just for fun and just for show. Obviously I have the capacity to do it otherwise I would not have tried. It’s not a training method it’s just a demonstration. Someone that doesn’t have the foundation I have should not try certainly. Everything needs to be considered in context and everything we see on the Internet doesn’t mean that we need to try or that it’s for everybody. There’s no injury to my hands or wrists
@@IKFFChannel sometimes i think the 2 KBs per hand is more of a show off move than strength training. Just my opinion thats all, I get it youre experienced and well versed in kettlebells. I do flows and complexes in some of my workouts.
Yes usually it’s just a show off. We can’t say that it’s not strength training because when you have double 16 kg in your hand it’s actually more difficult than a single 32 kg kettlebell. Because the double handles make the grip much wider and more difficult to hold. So while you’re right it’s mostly for demonstration or for fun or for showing off there is definitely a training component otherwise everybody could do it. In the context you are only seeing a clip out of a complete discussion in which we are talking about the versatility of how we can load the kettlebell iwhen we don’t have heavier Kettlebells we can combine Kettlebells to make any exercise more challenging if that was the goal
Yes thank you for the discussion. There’s always more than meets the eye and that’s one of the big limitations about social media in RU-vid we only see a clip it’s like a soundbite for a movement and we never know if we don’t talk about it. Thank you for your input
