iKon X3 Razor & PantaRei Brush Review & Shave 

hey man! i do have one thing to say about the X3 that no one seems to have noticed. its also an interesting fact about this razor! the combs on each side of the head are a bit different! if you look closely, you will notice that on one side, the comb is more open and spaced out, and on the other its more dense and the gaps are smaller and are more... there are more ridges of the comb or whatever these are called. and i personally find the wider comb to shave a lot smoother! to each his own though. thanks geofatboy- i bought my X3 through shavenation and its great! my perfect combo though is to top it off and make the finishing touches with my Merkur 34c HD for that real baby smooth shave. cheers from israel.

I like the way that you have multiple mirrors set up (Unless I'm wrong lol) so it is very easy to see how you are shaving each section of your face. I don't see that in other videos. Great shave!

Cool review :) Seems like there are a lot of new and nice slants to choose from today. How would you compare the X3 to others like the Fine Slant and RazoRock Wunderbar?

The phrase panta rei (cannot remember the correct spelling) is old greek and a principle in greek philosophy and means "everything is flowing". Which kind of raises the question if that is a particularly clever name for a shaving product ;-) However, that is a seriously beautiful brush!

Hi Mr. Geo, I'm Ed and I just wanted some guidance on some things. I'm shaving with a 5 blade gillette fusion proglide and it isn't helping my face return to what it was, I have really black facail hair that showes even at the surface of my skin giving me the apperance that I never shaved. I have thin hair growth just on my cheeks, lips and a cresant strap going from one side of my chin and going underneath to the other side but the hairs themselves are tough. I never had sensitive skin but I developed it over time and have redish razor burn that won't go away. I'm looking into safety razors and was thinking about buying a gillette super speeder on ebay, since it's no heavier than the proglide I'm using now, I was wondering what you recomend for my hair type and sensitive skin. I've tried 2 aftershaves, one a Gillette alcohol based one and a nivia one both for sevsitive skin and neither of them worked for me.

I paid 160€ for an Ikon DLC in Spain. After one year of use the head has become useless and the seller (Gifts&Care) doesn't answer my e-mails. Wth.

Hey geo, I got a question how do I keep my merkur de razor clean from water stains? Every time I use it I let it dry by the window with the razor side up and after its dry I go and put it away and I see the water marks.

I recently purchased an Ikon X3 directly from Ikon. I’m not sure how the rest of you received yours but mine came in a paper mailer not a box. It doesn’t shave well. But the worse is that I contacted the company twice and there has been no response. I am disappointed that there is no customer support.
