My 4th great grandfather is William “Jack” Purdy, the grandfather of Ikua Purdy. I was fascinated to learn this while tracing my moʻokūʻauhau 💖. Our ohana is so vast throughout Hawaii.

Awesome documentary...I just wish my 3rd Great Grandfather was acknowledged (at 2:20) in the photo. He was top center in the picture and his name was William Sydney Spencer of Waimea. You'll find him together in most of Ikua and Archie's photos. Mahalo for sharing!!
+JoveeKovee Aloha JoveeKovee, Im a greatgrandson to Ikua. We had a reunion about a month ago at Keehi lagoon. Our side is still big and getting together every two three years. Ohana from Maui, Molokai, Kauai, Hawaii, the Chillingworth ohana also came. How is tutu Kanius side doing? Ke aloha.
