That first head on kill was a beautiful shot. The last kill highlights the problem with the .303s they're good for deflection shooting but tend to not do very good damage fram behind, the british found out that they actually can bounce off the aluminum skin if shot at 6 o'clock.
Not much except some extra cigarettes, possibly. But after the war he'll probably be able to afford a nice apartment in Moscow or Leningrad, if he lives long enough!
You set that first 109 on fire with a single "golden bb"....quite extraordinary!!! The last one....well, you chewed on him until he was a colander!!! Well done! The hurricane is a very good, stable gun platform.
That was a fine head-on shot on that first 109, Taff. I had to laugh at how long that pilot sat getting fried before baling out; I reckon in real life he would have been a dead man. In the Battle of Britain, they had less than 10 seconds to get out of a burning aircraft before they burned to death. Finally, I think you were robbed of a kill when ground fire knocked the wing of that second 109 you tangled with.
Some great shooting there and the game seems to 'model' the .303 browning's very well. Be interesting to see the different offensive guns/cannons in use. Yes I know the cannons have very limited ammo but with that level of flying and expertise? I think the 'punch' will land solidly. Beautiful flying Sir! Now here comes the 'but'....b bb uut but Taff, what the 'eff is wrong? an almost flawless landing! WHAT?, it's not normal I tells ya, the ground-crew were all ready for some over-time and several people lost bets, not very communist really? Good thing you have all those roubles to spend later.
Taff I've noticed you don't flare much on your landings, you will have much less bouncing of you bring the stick back slightly more about 6 seconds before touchdown
I wouldn't say six seconds. That's a long time. If you get used to it, you can flare >just< before touchdown. If you flare too soon, the aircraft may 1) float (go an extended distance down the runway before touching down) or 2) gain altitude then stall and hit the runway hard.
Damn that first pass was awsome. Very interesting. I wonder if the bf109 had a problem with engine fires. Still that damn as gun stole one of your kills lol very cool to see it not only act as a detternce to attack but actually do some fatal damage as well.
The guns have to be mounted near the fuselage (because of weight) and I don´t think the Hurry´s wing can take the additional weight of the outer machineguns.
@@foreverpinkf.7603 Nah, you're thinking of the Spit. I don't think you could get 12 guns on a Spit without the wings falling off. Look at the Hurry's big heavy wing; it was an excellent gun platform.
@@Tuulos not with the divergence he has set. the way he wants to shoot he should have the enemy wings just a bit bigger then the gun sights. (around 150 M)
