Bismarck, Sturmling, Bear, and Myself finally found a day to schedule some long overdue IL-2 fly outs. I wish I could give an after-action report but nobody made it back.

I sadly could not record the normal third-person footage that I normally mix into the edit due to a game update. I know that takes quite a bit away from the production of these videos... but I couldn't get myself to not go ahead and publish this in first person. It was just too funny.

The lady at 11:51 is Lt. Antonina Lebedeva (1916-1943), shot down in a Yak9 during the Orel-Kursk operation. Her remains, along with documents and other personal belongings, were found in 1982

Ah, it's good to see the return of IL-2 and Bismarck... incidentally, the name in the girl in the photo on the Peshka's instrument panel isn't Marina or Olga, but Antonina (Antonina Vasilevna Lebedeva, a fighter pilot in the Red Air Force (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonina_Lebedeva).

I always appreciate these IL-2 videos for, mostly, 2 main reasons: It shows off how good of a (simulated) pilot Bo and Bis are *and* the banter between everybody is good-humored trolling.

One of the best if not THE best flight simulator(s). Definitely the best WW2 one. Like, War Thunder is a nice game, the closest thing to this you can get for free. But this is a simulator. It's way more realistic. And of course, the aircraft is flown by you here, not by a virtual instructor who you can tell where to go. lol

Oh what a funny video to end the night. 😂😂🤣🤣 Wonderful stuff Bo and team. Bismarck was strangely inefficient today though, needs some remedial training. That lawn dart in the end was just egregious.
