Monstadt had an archon in disguise who remained in disguise. Liyue had an archon fake his death and don a disguise. Inazuma had a present archon who stayed present. Sumeru had an imprisoned archon who was freed and became present. Fontaine had a present archon who was actually a disguise for the hidden archon and then ultimately no archon at all. No doubt Natlan won't match any of that either. A battle for the seat of pyro archon would certainly fit. You would see a new archon come to be.

I'd agree, except for the fact that there are specifically 11 harbingers. The existence of a harbinger number 0 would be a bit confusing. The only way this would be possible would be if Pierro wasn't a harbinger at all. That's what I think ^^

The title of the Natlan chapter is "Incandescent Ode of Resurrection." Who is getting resurrected? Is Murata dead and through war will be brought back to life? Or is Signora's story not yet over? Will we see the Crimson Witch of Flames reborn as a new pyro archon? I'm not even a Signora simp, but the odds of this happening are not zero in my opinion.

I think what might happened is we got the gnosis then trade it to become 10th of harbingers so we can move to last country with an entry

The original genshin chapters video states that pyro archon is female and will share a secret with the traveler. Although, Capitano might become an archon, the gnosis is most likely still in possession of the pyro archon who is alive for now.

Perhaps the reason that the captain is there is cuz the pyro archon herself is probably taking part in the war.Which means in order to get the gnosis u need to defeat the god of war herself which makes sense why they would send the strongest and most formidable of the harbingers

I actually considered one of the upper rank harbingers secretly *being* the pyro archon. And they’re actually going over Pierro’s head to work directly with the Tsaritsa already. Meaning, the fatui already *have* all the gnoses. But Capitano is actually from Natlan, and the battles he’s fighting are actually to find someone to take his place as the archon so he can sever ties with his people/culture. Perhaps he wants the Traveler to defeat him, be named the pyro archon, and in the process accomplish his goal of defecting from his people/culture. So in essence we as the traveler win the battle, but 103729% not the war as Capitano joins the Cryo Archon and reallly stirs the pot in drastic ways.
