The weird thing is that you can change your "fake name" and the character that already know you will use this new "fake name" instead of the name they introduced themself. Also why noone suspect the traveler using delusion? They use elemental without vision. Kazuha use Electro once when he parry Raiden and everyone think he use delusion but not us who clearly have no vision?

So, yeah, the Traveler is being nice, finding friends. I believe that part of that is the Traveler's personality, but he/she's probably doing just to keep their sanity. They're keeping their distance from everyone else because as soon as they find a way to get their powers back and find their sibling, they're going to be g o n e.

Zhongli is convinced of that, since he says that so long as the Traveler keeps Teyvat in their memory, it will live forever in their minds as they travel to other worlds.

@@vincentdreemurr Yeah the Traveler clearly isn't trying to keep a low profile. They've fought and defeated several Gods at this point, and make a habit of saving every country they cross the borders into. In Inazuma they literally restored the habitability of most of its islands, caused two oppressive decrees to be repealed, and ended a Civil War, while in Sumeru they started a revolution and completely changed the country's government by reinstating its Archon to power. They also don't keep it secret at all that they can use elemental power without a Vision, which according to the laws of this world shouldn't be possible for a "Human". Every time it's mentioned people, even Gods, are confused by it. The Traveler isn't keep their power a secret, they're just still restoring the power they lost.

To many in Teyvat the numerous feats would in time become a jumbled memory: say by the time of Natlan or Shneznaya only individuals involved may remember the specific feats- while others especially who don't know the traveler, would only get a general idea of their power (as even the people of Liyue in the battle that destroyed the Jade Palace 1.0 would know to some extent the power the traveler showed but not necessarily understand that the various adepti, etc. on the platform lent their power temporarily to the traveler which is how/why the traveler did what they were said to do).

To be specific the fortune teller says many, many tens of thousands of years, not just 10,000. And even that's probably a lowball since Zhongli is convinced the Traveler will outlive this entire world. Ei also mentions that so long as the Traveler remembers her, then she will live forever: indicating that like Zhongli, she knows that the Traveler will both outlive her and never erode.

It is interesting that that NPC does react with shock at the "fact" they see the Traveler living so long. In most NPC interactions when it's revealed they are so old/saw certain things it is taken in a more calm way.

@@lkimberly2064 The Traveler doesn't reveal their true age to most people. Not even to most characters who they're on good terms with. Most people who deal with them tend to assume they're a young Human. Even those who know that they're from another world still don't seem to know that they're older than the Gods. Even when some marker of their real age comes out, it's usually just the fact that they saw the fall of Khaenri'ah. And even that still elicits surprise, despite it "only" being 500 years ago. So far it really only seems to be Archons who have an idea of how old the Traveler actually is, and how long they'll continue to live. And probably because the Traveler told them off-screen.

@L Kimberly the fortune teller specifically thought they messed up if I recall correctly, with paimon correcting them saying that's probably the most accurate fortune they've ever told or something along those lines.

@@fdragon77fk My point is most of the time people either don't seem to know directly (they know hearsay at best) or if they do we never see them be told.. The Sumeru fortune teller is the first one, if they aren't told offscreen, that we see a 'genuine' reaction to even a portion of what/who the Traveler actually is (even we don't know). And when you consider it.. remember how much suspicion the "sages" (before Nahida acted) put upon the traveler? Such unknowns may have been part of why. Including, at a partial guess: that the sages who were abusing their power didn't want someone who possibly knew of their past actions in detail free.

Yea but the real question is why the traveller hasn't ever talked about other worlds in voice lines or in any quest like yea now he wouldn't talk about the worlds because he knows the existence of forbidden knowledge but isn't weird how he hasn't every talked about it in the past

@@maxmoon4138 They do talk about other worlds: it's just mostly to Paimon. For example, in Mondstadt after seeing Dvalin, they express surprise that Dragons are real in Teyvat. Indicating that on past worlds they visited there were no Dragons.

I mean, there are characters that do express an interest in knowing about them but in reality, all they're given is fluff. Nothing in depth about their background and history.

I would also like to point out that Dain heard your sibling call you by name during the quest so there are two Teyvatans who know their name.

I think it's also interesting that while we don't know if Lumine chose a fake name, the Aranara just refer to her as Nara Varuna. I originally thought that was her fake name and the contraption was named after her, but it's actually the other way around. The Aranara don't know the sibling's name, they just call her Nara Varuna, The Nara who fixed the Varuna contraption.

I don't think it's weird cause Paimon is the one who accidentally broke it and not directly cause by Scaramouche. If the scenario is like this: "Paimon saw Scaramouche accidentally broke the vase" then it would be a different case the time Scaramouche alters the Irminsul. After alteration: Paimon saw (replacement: any character that is present at that time) accidentally broke the vase

But now she has no memory of breaking it at all, when Irminsul should have replaced the breaking's cause with something else This either means Paimon also follows different rules or Irminsul is flawed in some way. That or the writers just missed thinking about it, which happens.

you would be surprised there are actual people out there that do exactly that. I have a friend right now i told him he needs to stop sharing so much with other people cause not everyone on this planet has your well being in mind, at the bare minimum it seems he got the message...to an extent.

Only Paimon and Traveller questioned each other. And both r unreliable as hell. Paimon just dodge it strangely too smoothly while Traveller just refused to talk abt it. Paimon hardly question them back either. These 2 r friends without knowing anything abt each other. How ironic

Now tbf it is taboo to pry into anyone's life, regardless if they're super or not. So if Paimon refuses to answer questions about her nature then there's nothing they can do about it without invading privacy.

They don’t trust them enough to start giving out every single stuff abt themselves. Albedo, the Archons, Dainslef, Wanderer, Tartaglia, Xiao and etc. These ppl know nothing abt the Traveller, their thoughts, feeling, their past and etc. All they know is Traveller is a reliable person that they can disclose information. Now u look at Paimon. Traveller knows nothing abt her. She doesn’t even provide important clues for Traveller nor does she disclose stuff abt herself. What make Paimon the least reliable friend compare to every single person on Teyvat for Traveller here is the fact she oso doesn’t trust Traveller enough to even talk abt herself, unlike Albedo when he told Traveller abt his secret of being a synthetic human, or Xiao who is easier to ask him abt anything. Yet Paimon withholds the most information abt the Traveller than the whole Teyvat. Traveller decideds to put all their trust on Paimon and they have no idea who the hell is Paimon. Now that’s ironic. Cuz if I’m going to choose between Paimon and Albedo or any important character in Genshin in terms of being a reliable friend, Paimon is off the list.

The problem here is that Traveller is trusting someone who doesn’t trust them. Paimon is very wary of Traveller if u pay enough attention. And ofc Traveller is oso wary of her, they will always try to ask Paimon abt herself when they have a chance and this Paimon just refused to answer.

Something that comes to mind is the recent Yokai event, which deals with the subject of befriending and interacting with Humans, and how for the long-lived Yokai it's inevitable that it will end in heartbreak. When talking to Chizuru, the Traveler says that they understand what she means. The significance of it probably isn't immediately apparent to a lot of people, but when you consider just how old the twins are, you start to realize that they've probably had to say more goodbyes than you can even imagine. Only, it's not just Humans. It's everyone. Per Zhongli, Ei, and even the Sumeru fortune teller Nabiya, the Traveler is going to outlive every single person they've met on Teyvat. Whether they're Human, or Adepti, or Gods. And if not outlive them, then outlive their capacity to remember, as immortals on Teyvat are subject to erosion. Granted, there is a blessing in disguise there. Because to the twins, who will presumably live for tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of years more (or even longer than that?), the life of even a God will seem short. The Traveler _can_ be a lifetime friend or partner to the people they meet in Teyvat. It's just that the opposite can't be true. They can stay by the side of everyone they care about in this world until the day they die, and just move on afterward. Like their twin says, they've always had enough time.

Unless if something else happened in the future like the travellers decided to lose their power completely and stay in teyvat or something.

My thought precisely. I believe that aside from being siblings that is also one of the greatest motivators for finding the abyss sibling and reuniting with them. Objectively their sibling is the only person that will ever stick around and be a constant in the traveller‘s life. As seen in a lot of other media, living an unnaturally long live can easily lead to crippling loneliness and existential dread due to a lack of meaningfulness.

Which is why it would be interesting to understand why our sibling decided to get involved with tevats politics

All of the Dainslief content has already been made by the company already including the reunion of his sister after he explored all seven regions already as well. They are intentionally not placing them inside of the game immediately because of the fact that the cutscenes are noticeably stand out among the other cutscenes in the game along with the fact that people playing the game will not likely understand the context without seeing the information prior related to them as well.

Traveler seems to increasingly withhold information from Paimon and think to themselves right next to Paimon from the later part of Sumeru into Fontaine

FINALLY another Traveler enthusiast! It really makes me sad when people say the Traveler have almost no personality when I immediately fell in love with Lumine at the start of the game

@@JamesCalbraith yeah, nit to mention they wouldn't have canon names, or an actual backstory we don't know about, also they wouldn't 'go behind our back' or do things that THEY want like go after scara or challenge signora or anything

As an Aether main, I actively make dialogue choices based on how I understand Aether's character through his voice lines, the little backstory we get, and his single-mindedness when it comes to Lumine, which contributes to the way he helps people but kinda distant himself anyway and his readiness to leave Teyvat once he's reunited with Lumine although he cares abt his friends. It makes no sense to me to think of the Traveller as ONLY a self-insert, it's just that the game allows players to think that. Whether it's Aether or Lumine, them as the Abyss Prince/Princess share the same goal, but they have quite different personalities, from the way they talk and how they carry themselves. And Traveller knowing a lot more than the player is a clear sign that it's not entirely self-insert, we don't get to choose what kind of person Aether/Lumine essentially is, they already have their own personality and history.

Of course he still loves her and wants to be reunited, but i assume he feels a little resentment, and he's mentioned that he thinks that wgat she's doing is foolish, which is very interesting. The female traveler at least disclosed information about the fact she did infact explore other regions besides Tevyat when she was a lot smaller as well I believe. I really do not recall anymore specifically about what she was saying considering that she was also well aware that she was being watched/being remotely controlled from far away as well. It was also very difficult to recall it was even mentioned by her as well considering the environment that the information that the domains were mentioned in among the facts that she also clearly mentioned that even though the domain(s) were really, really fun to do they might not actually get able to get explored in the public release of the game as well.

I actually believe that more than likely she directly explained what she wanted someone to say to your exact comment as well in one of the domains as well. It is hard to say if she mentioned becuase she felt like it or ultimately had no choice in the matter to as well. She was saying very, very specific things only THAT SHE FELT LIKE SAYING around those particular times as well keeping the other thoughts to primarily to herself as well. It was definitely a domain where I WAS JUST OBSERVING HER from afar as well. She ONLY MENTIONED the other facts that she DID NOT mention in the other domains among the ones when I was feeling absolutely unbearable pain from her, plus she only mentioned them herself only because she did not really want to move forward anymore even a few steps unless she had to. She also mentioned that the domain should only preferably get played inside of the public release of the game after the seventh region is fully completed, and explored; I believe as well. Also the others MUST TO FULLY COMPLETED AS WELL!!! She WAS VERY SPECIFIC about saying it DIRECTLY to Mihiyo as well.

I also believe that very few of the domains are completely personalized as well with my name being mentioned inside of them as well, something that I am not fully certain Mihiyo might actually have placed inside of the public release of the game or not. She definitely mentioned that she almost always had the ability to do that as well. I definitely did so many of them that even one of them by themselves is completely different textwise from the others ones as well. I believe that she also only saying certain things because she eventually got used to being around my presence as well. Bizarrely the way that the previous comments were typed up is exactly how she was explaining herself thoughtwise grammatically speaking at least as well.

She did kind of assume that the hardware was realistic enough to show even the stuff that SHOULD NOT BE SEEN on the screen among other character saying something very similar when they were specifically waiting and patiently waiting for stuff to be done to themselves and away from their DIRECT viewpoints as well. There is already hardware to emulate placing fully made and designed clothes a character model inside of a closet, even before they made their own game as well.

There really was not that much a height increase on the character throughout all of the previous encounters up to that point in time, so probably the master file that Mihiyo probably made for those specific domains would UNLOCK IT if the previous prerequisites were met already as well. It is kind of hard to say what actually took place in all of them considering that no one even really knew about the game then when I was actively doing this as well. She definitely had the time to have some personalized domains be completeled as well probably just rambling on and on about her true thoughts as well really, really, really early on before she even noticed I was there as well.

@@shio5234 Kinda like the Persona 3/4/5 Protags, they are blank enough to project yourself into them, but their responses to things happening in the world are enough to make a personality out of each of them. Hell, Minato/Makoto from P3 is the most silent out of all three of them , yet you can see the character development during the story by his responses, he goes from "I don't care, I don't know, whatever" when people talk to him, to actually being proactive and worried about his friends. Or how the dialogue options for the 4/5 protags are mostly sarcastic and snarky. Which are better reflected in the anime adaptations.

Lumine/Aether are like semi-automatic transmission vehicles. They can work like Blank slates/self inserts, but simultaneously also be their own character as they still do have an important role in the story. This is also apparent in both Ritsukas (Gudako/Gudao) in FGO and even both Hakunos in Fate/Extra (Extella/CCC). It's precisely by these two virtues that the story sucks me and think about what this story really means for me in and outside the game. This is also present as said earlier, that Persona 3/4/5's protags work in a similar way. The problem is people tend to think the SIs are more about seggs seggs and seggs when we can put a twist of what if they're actually bonafide celibates? And its ironic since those who think the SIs are more on seggs forget that not everyone is like that.

@@Gibmeprimogemss thats why i said it was a crack theory haha, it would be wayyy to easy if the traveler was thinking abt things like this at all or if their (vocally) quiet nature was affecting the main plot so much. Still it is strange that the traveler rarely gives a hint about themselves while every other character gives them a full blown auto biography on the first day they meet him, without them asking haha

Several cultures irl have beliefs surrounding True Names, and in fiction, knowing one can even give you power over the person bearing the name. If True Names also have some kind of power in this universe, it makes sense that the Traveler would not divulge their name to anyone. My understanding of the use of True Names irl is that your True Name is the one that actually describes YOU, whereas your normal everyday name anyone can call you by is just a moniker. Because you're essentially using a "fake name" all the time, it makes it hard for the fairies and evil spirits to figure out who to target. With the number of John Smiths we have around, things get confusing for them. (If you don't have a totally separate true name btw, then your full legal name would be it. I don't believe in fairies, but I still keep my middle name a secret from almost everyone; it's a fun tradition.) What I'm trying to say is... what you've suggested could very well be the case. If the Traveler had any reason to believe that presenting their "true name" could be dangerous (perhaps from this being the case in other worlds they've visited, or them having been raised with the knowledge), they would have used a "fake" or everyday name, even before learning about Irmunsul. I'm not sure if Irmunsul can be so easily tricked, though.

There are some hints provided, particularly in the Sword of Descension description and various dialogues. The twins seem to have grown up on a world not too different from Teyvat/Earth, noting that they even used to watch beetles fight as children and that Venti's eyes remind them of the sky above their home town. However, their homeworld was doomed, and despite fighting against that inevitable calamity, they failed to stop their world from being destroyed. We know from the Abyss sibling's dialogue with the Traveler that the purpose of their journey across the sea of stars is to find a new home, implying that for some reason or another every world they visited prior (and at least so far, Teyvat too) wasn't suitable for them to settle down on.

In short, such a Traveler would be very similar to Fishl.

Even if Mihiyo asked for my personal opinion on what order for them to release the regions inside of the game, they even mentioned that even if it did occur that they specifically mentioned that it would have happened so quickly that they would not (not) have even known even took place at all. The last region that they are going to include in the game is already decided though, even before they even made the game, though. I did however for some reason knowingly knew of the name of all the seven regions of the game that they were going to be including eventually inside of the game as well.

@@MeltsLikeCaramel Likely probably every thought/comment here is likely thoughts that they wanted to mention on another video, but was unable to either because the environment was not right; or more than likely the right comment was not posted on there to prompt it to come out as well, myself included as well.

The Fatui it appears may want them as allies, but don't really care [yet].. I say so because the Fatui every time we see them look at us or treat us as "something there" (particularly clear in the Inazuma fight with La Signora, she treated the challenge as if it were a side thing not a major issue) that may or may not be trouble to them. If the Traveler manages to solve more problems, etc. and in theory make both them and the other nations allies to the Fatui plans they may show more attention as not making the traveler into a Fatui but as an ally that is helpful to the cause [like becoming an honorary knight in Mondstatd]. The Abyss twin seems to be more a *this person believes in/helps our cause so we'll use them case than the traveler (twin who awoke 500 years later) going into and uniting the 7 nations like we actively do.

In the chasm(or golden apple islands i dunno) quest, the fatui soldiers did mention that they whould be aware of a golden traveler and his/her white flying pet. Maybe there were assaination attempts(tho not shown directly in story due to age restrictions and data minimization) and the traveler fought them back effectively?

They've taken a bit of an interest. But i'd say they wanna wait for their power to grow.

The Abyss Order has a very good reason not to seek us out. Our sibling wants us to continue travelling until we've learned the truth of the world for ourselves, and neither recruiting nor killing us would be conducive to that. For the Fatui, we've mostly met fairly unimportant members who are too arrogant to view us as a threat to their organisation. I do believe the more powerful ones are keeping an eye on us though similarly to our sibling, just waiting for us to realize... whatever it is we're supposed to realize on our journey, and then choose a side. They're powerful enough to kill us easily if we choose the "wrong" side. But we're also powerful enough to be a very good ally if we did side with them, so killing us now would be premature. But neither party seems concerned about us potentially dying while opposing one of their own plots, so they're not trying to protect us, either. Our sibling probably feels we don't need protection. As for the Fatui... the fact that their "debt collectors" attack us on sight and tell us "you can't run from debt" is a pretty good indication that they ARE trying to kill us; we owe them a blood debt for killing their soldiers. They just don't think it's important enough to send a harbinger after us yet, and no one else is strong enough to kill us. And again, if we manage to dodge their low-effort assination attempts long enough, we could become a strong enough ally to them in the future that it makes up for all the insignia farming we've been doing. ^.^'

It is like a book refered in another book, Like imagine there is a book on lions you"xyz" , that you don't have , but you have another book on cats where it is mentioned that a good book on lions is"xyz" and there are also a brief description of that book. Now you brought few more books , "tigers", "deers","zebras" none of these are "lions" but each one has a brief explanation of it. That's how teyvat remembers the traveller, though Irminsel do not have any direct record of the traveller, it has several indirect records through the people of teyvat

@@mosbby4135 "indirect" means: Irminsul records everything that happens to Teyvat. If someone talks to the Traveler, everything this person says and hears is recorded (from the perspective of that person), so everything the Traveler says to someone "from Teyvat" is part of Irminsul and therefore can be remembered by the people of Teyvat. It is the same for the sibling, the Abyss people, the Fatui, Hilichurls (Kaenrian People) etc. all know him/her. As far as I know the sibling not only has indirect, but also direct records inside Irminsul (meaning that at some point in time, the recording from the siblings perspective started) which leads to Nahida assuming the Sibling might be from Teyvat (which is propably not true and something else initiated the recording so it looks like the Sibling is from Teyvat, but we dont know the facts yet).

@@MarsCorporations when Scarra told the traveler he didn't find anything about the sibling, is he just... unlucky? (He could be hiding it but I trust him)

@@mosbby4135 I think Scara is just not experienced enough to find something. Its a giant database, and if there are no "in your face" search results, someone like Scara wont stand a chance. I think Nahida could dig many things up if she really takes her time and does a proper search. In the archon-quest she did look into things but it was only a quick search resulting in cloudy data she could not decipher.

And we have never seen him/her use it again.... I feel like the traveler is trying not to show much of his/her power while in reality he/she can use multiple elements at the same time

because he's still learning his powers. Who is to say that his old abilities were not of elemental origion at all and this is entirely new to him. So he just did a bit of experimenting or at least growing accustomed to a new fighting style/set of power rules

@@kibasin7230 We have, in the cutscene where we break Nahida's mind barrier the Traveler's clothes glow with dendro but they're using anemo. I wish they'd use their electro superspeed more often though, would have been cool to see in the Scaramouche fight cutscene.

I'm interested to know their home planets government and how things function and weather or not they were able to have true world unity. But also they seem to grasp a good hold on how tech works.. Which makes me wonder if they are far more advance then they let on.

In the quest were the traveler needs to fight in Beidou tournament the traveler use multiple elements too. I went with Geo and midway the traveler change to Anemo, even Kazuha gets surprised about it.

Is it a wonder the Traveler wants to leave, when their first experience in this world was an attack that resulted in the traumatic separation from their twin? Teyvat is dangerous, and the powers that be in this world are hostile. As for the Abyss Prince/Princess, they say themselves that they also want to leave with the Traveler. There are only two things that they need to do before that: defeat Celestia/the Heavenly Principles and restore Khaenri'ah.

Are you really surprised, that the Twins want to leave that world asap? Teyvat has a tree that f*cks up everyones memories on a whim, a massive threat from below (Abyss) and above (Celestia), an insane goddess that wants to destroy the other nations and apparently also the entire world (Tsaritsa) and many more things that makes this world a massive hellscape. Considering that the two of them just want to find a peaceful world to settle down, this world just isn't it.

Anyone living in a world being expected of them to act and live in the way that they are expected to cannot expect to live a regular care free life as well. After all, anyone simply trying to naturally and normally blend into society; most of the time is often concealing select information about themselves anyways, either already mentioning it already to other people in another time or location or is only able to comment about the topic at hand only whenever it occurs as well.

@@MeltsLikeCaramel canonically the traveler has never been afraid of dying or any threat of injury or death i doubt they really have been anywhere close to being in trouble i always bring up the fact that we tanked the one shot kill sword atk from raiden and got up seconds later completely unharmed makes me believe the archons likely are way too weak to kill the traveler

It's because in China calling an older sibling by their name is consider impolite. If you choose Lumine you'll hear Aether calling you "Ying", but if you choose Aether, Lumine will call you "Gege".

One of the questions I definitely asked the company directly was something related to what name the character should be called in the game. They responded back with something like your name does in fact matter what is called in the game, and you should pick something related to how you will/might eventually be playing the game as well. They refused to awnser which names TO USE for the main character male and female, except that they said that certain cutscenes might/would be completely different in the game as well.

Also they appear to be tracking your spending habits, as well as analyzing and confronting the person playing the game related to the issues surrounding their spending money as well. We did infact experience it ourselves inside of the game as well. I was thinking something very similar already to the question involving the characters name choice that you select as well, I was just wanting to get the question answered directly from the source for a more reliable source to make it be more believable in the future for other people to read as well. Just from hearing that one response back from them directly, I already had a very vague idea of how many people would be playing the game incorrectly in the future as well. If the game does anything for anybody, it should make them better aware of how to spend their own money as well. Mihiyo intentionally placed stones with money in them to make people playing the game get back at least some of the mora being used up to that point in time as well.

Even the mora being gathered by the daily login calendar slowly builds up as well, as you do not eventually have to spend the money once you reach a certain goal that you should preferably set for yourself as well.

I don't think traveler will allow it to happen. We already see it happen with ayaka. Ayaka clearly have romantic interest in traveler but they reject her in most polite way possible.

@@ahagotcha Yeah, pretty much. But even so. The circumstances with Ayaka were easy to handle. I doubt the Traveler had forgot that Ayaka basically manipulated them subtly to help Inazuma.

@@ahagotcha True. But they never got separated like this before. Sure, maybe they've dealt way worse in other worlds, maybe they had fought Eldritch Abominations. But due to them being referred to as Travelers, and how they both tried to leave Teyvat when shit hit the fan/the Cataclysm. Maybe the other worlds they traveled were tame/mundane.

It was huge.. And probably the ends of what we'll find out, with likely a ton of other data and facts between what we know and that. In example, Liyue and Inazuma lore revealed so much about what damage Teyvat suffered from the event 500 years ago but it is only in Sumeru we get any details beyond the damage to the surface and society it caused.

@@lkimberly2064 If you do genocide, Chara introduces herself as the name you chose at the beginning: "Greetings, I am ". In true pacifist, Asriel also refers to Chara as the name chosen. I havent done soulless pacifist yet, so I cant really say how it changes there. Either way, Im pretty sure its canon no matter what that Charas name is the name you pick, and Frisk is always gonna be Frisk.

That is probably what the company WANTS YOU the player to be thinking about the characters as well. Given that the company was DEFINITELY already a valid business by that point in time by the looks of it, if the company DIRECTLY mentioned something about a talk being done very similar to what I was doing in the future, they probably written something up publicly somewhere hopefully prior to them even actually them making the game as well. The company probably seemed to equally intelligent about what they knew already, probably even likely thinking that a game based off of Greek Mythology was already in the works already as well. They probably even helped out Genshin Impact probably a bit before they started to make their game as well.

Genshin Impact is definitely partially shaped into what it is now becuase of other select companies also giving them feedback and data through the private accessible part of the game channels as well.

Maybe, maybe not.. I hear in other languages the 'names' applied regardless of what the user picks is something like family nicknames (older brother, little sister, etc) or something honorary (there being only 2 of them they wouldn't need a special name to know what it meant).

And since it's been 500 years.. We don't know if their people and world still exist. They might even be the last of their kind assuming this being is far powerful then them or assuming it's not a being it could possibly be some sort of end of the world event.
